I think that this is the most powerful reason to like what Walters did.

  • Mini camp invite to the Giants is basically extended to every Canadian draft prospect with a pulse around this time of year.

  • Please no white receivers from Saskatchewan ....

Why did they not use the guy they already had in that role? (tight end) He showed he could catch when it was thrown to him. Normand.

Toronto used a big Canadian as a tight end last season, worked really well.

I really liked normand. But we didnt get harris enough touches and our red zone calls were still head scratching. I think thats part of the evolution of the game though. every year one or two good hback types come out and no one makes great use of them. Normand did a lot away from the ball in packages, but he could have done a lot more and may yet find more use.

New CBA coming this offseason and the cap is expected to rise by more than the usual annual 50k so it's not that laughable.

And we could do the same thing next year as last year... bring in a "today" player and a "future" player.

I don't know why you have such a problem with this.

Seriously?  You have no idea???

I wonder if that neg list player is Manziel.

No it's not.

The Als also got international receiver Jamal Robinson.

Jonestown must be comfortable to pick a player who won't be in the CFL for probably a couple years at least.

Already a waste with Bouka, who was briefly in Saskatchewan last year but has already left for the NFL again meaning you no longer have his rights.

Riderfans masters love Jones' pick! They love it !

It as if they feel they should vocally support whatever Jones' decisions are. LOL

Well I wouldn't have minded picking up Julien Laurent at #7.

Looking good for the Bombers to have their pick of receiver, DB or RB at 12.

i have a feeling we are gonna grab who ever we are gonna grab no matter who falls.

Calgary probably goes DB here, Bennett or Onyeka.  Fortunate to have the run on OL ahead of them.

I like what Hamilton has done to be truthful.

Onyeka, Bennett, Peterman, Simonese all left. I hope we select one.

You'd be surprised at the amount of moaning over losing Bomben. Too many HTC fans think small.

These OL runs in CFL Drafts are basically a meme now.

There's a few guys in this draft who are high end who aren't OL, and there's a few of these OL who are going to bust hard.  But everyone just takes OL.

ideally one of the first 3 but yes.

Well at least one of Bennett or Peterman will be there and I'd be happy with either.

Onyeka would be great for us, the DB not the DL.
