Anybody change their minds on how preseason changed their expectations for this year .... Montreal thrashing Ottawa changed mine .... cutting Willy raise my hopes for the Argos .... Edmonton looks stronger than I first thought and Regina even worse

For the first time in years I am forecasting Winnipeg finishes first in the league  .. just an optimistic hunch .... I forecast these final standings:

Winnipeg

Calgary

Vancouver

Edmonton

Ottawa

Montreal

Toronto

Hamilton

Grant has never had any baggage, but Carter................I don't think Gimli has distilled enough firewater to get O'Shea and Walters to bring him in.

If Carter ever became a Bomber, I'd put the over/under at half a practice before O'Shea laid a beating on him.

Over at Riderfans, they are slowly working through the four stages of grief: denial, anger, and depression, but the acceptance part is still far, far away. I am reveling in schadenfreude and God will probably going to get me for that.

Carter would lose his s*** when Nichols misses him on long balls, toss the Gatorade container in a sideline tirade, and beat Korey Banks record for shortest tenure as a Bomber ever, getting released before halftime!

This seems like a giant troll job by some Rider players.   I don't doubt something happened in practice but that description from Madani defies belief (Staffers setting up fights?  uh huh. ).  Maybe Carter takes a seat for Friday's game or maybe not.  But this reeks of more of the attention grabbing the Riders have been doing all season.  Go back to working on your 1st Down err I mean TD celebrations fellas.  The Hadoken/Street Fighter thing is played out.  Maybe try some Mortal Kombat stuff.

Naylor on TSN confirmed that their was a situation,    he made no mention of coaches starting the fight though.     Jones apparently will address the media tomorrow.  

I highly doubt that the coaching staff would start a fight between two players.     My guess is Carter was being Carter and pissed someone off...

This is pure speculation, but one of the players could have gone to a coach complaining about the other player and was told to confront his adversary directly.

I had a good laugh at the riderville post about this. 20 pages in and they are all in denial.. and yet, Dennis posted that 5am tweet. leads me to believe that they are definitely trying to act like all's well when in reality..
