Lets see if we can keep this thread a little more civil.

I found this interview very interesting.  A lot of soft balls thrown at Trump, he explained his back pedalling on his more extreme issues as a lot of his claims as opening bids for negotiation purposes.  Which .. whatever .. I still think that those are insincere claims he used to get elected.

He does now come across way more presidential then he did prior to the election.  A lot of his noise, yelling, and rhetoric has been scaled back.

So they butchered and mutilated a human being, looked at all the stuff we sell the Saudi's, the most ever in history, say Trump gleaming like a peacock.

The thing that confuses me (and I certainly dont know anything about geo-politics) is how many people are saying "look you cant cause an international incident over one murder, you cant tick off the Saudi's or they will crush us".  Why is the US so beholden to Saudi Arabia?  Is Saudi Arabia not beholden to the US?

Trump only cares about wealth and in his mind he is trying to set himself up by using the name of the POTUS to do business with all these countries after they throw him out of the WH 😂

At this point, I wouldn't doubt any of it. 

The unpacking of this administration, following all the indictments, pleas and convictions will be remarkable. 

I'm not sure how anyone will be able to explain this.

 

I've been watching the Ken Burns Vietnam documentary and we're well into the Nixon administration. The corruption that eventually took Nixon down, pales in comparison to the corruption we've already seen with Trump, his administration and the GOP AND we're less than 2 years in. Incredible. 

The Republicans are really, a proto fascist organisation.

No, disagree. The Republicans were nothing like this 50 years ago. They were pro business with low taxes, like now. But their congressmen & senators  for the most part were decent individuals. 

This means nothing to the Trump base.  The term “deplorable” doesn’t come close to describing that crew.

Trump ratcheting up the lies and crazy as the mid terms creep up

CNN reporting that two "suspicious packages" (reported to be IED's - a.k.a. bombs) were found, one outside Bill and Hillary Clinton's home, and one that was addressed to Barack Obama. This comes two days after a pipe bomb was sent to George Soros' home. Also, police called to investigate a suspicious package sent to Time Warner offices (the parent company of CNN) that led to a building evacuation.

At first glance, someone seems to be declaring war on Democrats in a very literal sense.

Switch to this thread since it now appears a Trump admin official lied to cnn about the White House also being targeted in an attempt to make the acts look bipartisan. Shameful if true
