Only *real* concern for me is Foketi apparently playing RT for the first time ever. Is a long time natural LT, so he says he's gotta reverse everything...kinda like a right-handed person trying to write with their left......or vice versa. Hopefully not a huge issue...'cause I like Bond back at Guard.

Still no Ryan Smith or Adams? That's a shame.

Going to be at least until after the bye for Smith. Adams was a long term injury but I haven't seen a timetable for his return,

Bond wasn't horrible but he didn't inspire a ton of confidence when he slid out to RT. Hopefully Foketi adjusts well, the coaching staff seem to be high on him.

Bauming was saying dressler macho (ugg) adams and McDuffie should be good to go after the bye. Smith and Randle a week or 2 later. Hardrick could be after the bye also or a week or 2 later

As for that bad mother foketi... I thought and yeah it was just preseason but I thought he stood out in a good way and wasn't surprised that they kept him around

Add they really going going to bother inserting Macho and even McDuff back into the lineup?

Macho as a special teams player might not be bad. I dunno tho. It's just what Bauming said. McDuffie... I'm not that high on him but I suppose if it means less injury risk to Fogg.... sure. 

I'm also not convinced that macho and McDuffie are on the 46 when healthy 

Fogg is averaging 18 yds on punts....not sure we can move him off returns.   Jovon could do it.....

McDuffie is going to have to do something on offense to stay on the roster, not this week obviously.

Guys like Denmark, Feoli-Gudino, Leggett,and Dressler can handle some returns, more guys can handle kickoffs if needed due to fatigue or injury.

wow Toronto has five Nationals on their OL.  How did they pull that off?  Gives them a lot of roster flexibility on defense.

They have this thing called a practice roster. The issue is nobody on the Rider's staff can count. They thought they had ten guys.

Going in with only one oline backup seems risky to me esp since Courture is a raw rookie .....

was hoping we'd see more healthy bodies coming into the line up. Cant see foketi making our OL worse. Hope he shows some thing. And hope we get healthy in a hurry. 

There's no way macho is getting his spot back. Loffler has been playing great and is a national.

Couture has filled in adequately a few times this year... and we go with one back up O-lineman every game... Jake Thomas is the second back up if there's 2 injuries... this is nothing new....

Interestingly I remember before training camp I was listening to the coaches' show on CJOB and when O'Shea was asked about the O-Line he specifically mentioned Manase Foketi as being a prospect he was excited about.  I'm hoping for big things out of him.

actually we carried 2 back up ol early in the year. We got down to no healthy back up ol and had to have jake change numbers, Which means we have no back up DT. 

Carrying soo many Lbers and soo few linemen will haunt eventually. Not to mention if tackles go down we have to put jake in side and move a guard out side thats an even bigger risk.

Yeah. He will prolly get back on the roster (if his deal is reasonable enough) to play teams and some situational packages thats it.
