Our kick returner scored a TD. Our O put up 16 17 points but plz go on about the kicker. 

This team still set a franchise record for wins and still was 1 point shy in a game they played objectively poorly in. 
This loss doesn't really bother me. Ultimately it simply came down to the players leaving too many plays on the field and we know they can be better than that so chalk it up to what it is, bad night at the office in the worst game to have one of those. 
Next season Toronto will be a mediocre team again that no one cares about and Winnipeg will be one of it not the top team in the league again. 

All year this team won because they forced teams to kick field goals while they scored tds. Last night the offense shat the bed and wasn't their usual opportunistic selves. That was the game in a nut shell. 

Just so we are clear, the winning team missed 3 field goals in the game and the losing team only missed one.  Both teams had a blocked field goal, so by all accounts, Toronto's kicker left more points on the field than Winnipeg's.  You can't hang the loss on the kicker. 

Re-signing Willy would just be awkward for both sides, kind of like inviting the first ex-wife to your third wedding.

Can change the name of this thread? No reason we should be using variations of the word ******* here. I'm all for making fun of the Riders but don't need to use slurs against people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

interesting yes, although in the CFL I don't necessarily want to hear. If it's the NHL/NBA/MLB/NFL then sure, even if it make them look bad, they're getting paid well enough to deal with the publicity stuff.   In the CFL I think they deserve a bit more of their privacy. If I get fired from my job, the reason is between me and my company, and I make more than some CFL players. So I'm ok with respecting players privacy.

My level of respect for him has increased ever since he went full disclosure of the impacts concussions have had on him and his family and his genuine love for CFL football evident in his broadcasts. Sort of the yes we need to make this game as safe as possible but never stop balling hard. I love watching games he does the colour.

Thank god I've realized that the keyboard warriors who represent Saskatchewan really have nothing in common with the fans who sit in the stands, because I yet again had a wonderful gameday experience in Regina this weekend.
