You know why you have fans across the country? Because the smart ones are bright enough to get the hell out of that craphole of a province called Saskatchewan. Lord knows if I lived there I probably would have shot myself by now, or moved to Saudi Arabia if I had no other options. 
 
You basically have potash, farmland, ladies with 3 teeth at most, and a football team. Not much else. So it's obvious why Saskatchewan folk who get scattered cheer for the football team --- the rest aren't much to cry home about. 
 

Another thing that MTS centre has going for it... big dollar naming rights, plus a huge piece of the VLT revenue. 

Bombers can fund the rainy day fund / ongoing repairs by not having to pay the mortgage. Like most cities the government can help fund the construction of the stadium and gets a signficant return over time for spinoff spending. Taxes on payroll, construction, consumption (food, liquor), the list goes on. 

It's not just about a building, it's about all of the spinoff related to it. Every game I go to, it's not just a game. It's a dinner before drinks, etc. Keeping people employed since the day I could walk. 
 
 

We need to go 4-2 or 5-1 to have a hope. We have a tough schedule. 

Hate to say it, but over the span of 4 weeks we went from believing we had a home playoff game... to starting to think about effing hockey.

What if our d hadn't pooped the Bed against BC and we lost on the last play?
What if our d hadn't pooped the Bed against Edmonton and we lost in the last minute?
Yeah we would have been 7-1 instead of 5-3. 
Be happy that our D has turned things around and we have won 3 in a row. Things are looking up. NIcholls is bound to have some stinkers. He still helped us put points on the board. This is a team game, not an individual one.

Not in sports, not in competitive sports especially. These guys know what they are doing and take the risk trying not to get caught.

Montreal didn't trade the farm to bring Manziel in so he could sit on the bench. Their plan was to rush him onto the field in 1 to 3 games tops. They know they don't have a choice.

Actually I think the Bombers D during the Tyrone Jones - James West era were far more elite.

The D... shutdown BC in the first half. The second half had some good turnovers, but couldn't address issues in the secondary (as usual). Bunch of useless penalties and BC had opportunities to score.
 
Don't blame the D fully for this one.... but we definitely don't have a D that's winning us games in the crunch....
