  1. Matty could easily pass for 4000 (If healthy and conditions are good, etc, etc, etc). I just think that "4000 yards" and a "downfield attack with multiple 1000 yard receivers" are two separate things.
  2. 4000 is a bit of an arbitrary number which doesn't really describe a down field attack, imo. I would love a QB who is going to get an all star nod. I don't particularly like the offence we've been seeing these past few years. I do understand the limitations of some of our players at this moment in time.
  3. Pretty much expected. Only guy that stayed healthy all season.
  4. The argument being that we don't have a QB for that.
  5. Agreed. I was positive that Andrew wouldn't get the all star vote. Curious if he can take the league all star as well, now.
  6. You're right that Harris can't prove his innocence. Even if the sample cam back positive, he could be doping AND taking a contaminated substance. He can't prove a negative. I also think there's a strong possibility that if Andrew is innocent (and the pill he took was contaminated), it doesn't mean that every pill in the bottle he bought was contaminated. He could be "innocent" and still have his test sample come back from the lab as clean (uncontaminated). He's in a no win scenario.
  7. Are you suggesting athletes don't take/need supplements? Because 100% of athletes do....
  8. I'm sure Bauming et al are rooting for Harris to have a moster play offs and win the Grey Cup - they wont admit it because they're supposed to be impartial, but I think they're still rooting for the person and teams. Didn't Jeff Hamilton do a podcast with Harris? I'm pretty sure they're friends. They certainly don't have anything against the player or the team and won't feel stupid if Harris continues to be great. I'm sure they expect him to do as he always has.
  9. That wasn't my interpretation of what Noeller said. He seemed to imply not hiring (a potentially better candidate) because we have to show loyalty to someone who's been here. If you're hiring who you have instead of the best candidate, I'm calling nepotism. None of it matters right now, there isn't an opening to talk about, and I don't think Walters will have the same opinion as Noeller, but personally, I'm not really considering the feelings of my assistant coaches during hiring practices - all I'm saying.
  10. Lol. Nepotism at its finest.
  11. They're positive when things are going well and negative when they're not. its silly - and not objective - to say we have a good thing going right now.
  12. Yeah. It's tough when the kids probably don't understand the reasons they're not allowed to play. They sure understand that their parents are having none of it though.
  13. Parents are definitely having second thoughts about registering their kids. We'll see the ripple effect as time goes by. Lots of Americans though. And the NI rules are on their way out the door.
  14. The only people who use shot gun are those who don't know how to coach QBs.
  15. Burnham is going to thrive with Reilly at QB.
  16. I don't want to jump into this debate - because it's a ridiculous one - but what would they gain by disparaging our league and saying the talent level is crap? No matter what they think, that's what they're going to say.
  17. Great play by Diggs to avoid contact, gets the call anyway.
  18. Lawerence with the pick. I'd be so disgusted if I was a Rider fan right now.
  19. KD Cannon's made some plays for him.
  20. They're not having any luck with an already crappy OL.
  21. Hated them since they jumped in our boat.
  22. Apples are delicious!
  23. Off topic, but anyone else see that Darrin Bauming is predicting that Speller starts ahead of Gray?
  24. The reason I care about football is because we have a local team to cheer for. I follow the NFL, but I don't sit there and watch games like I do with the CFL.
  25. I have nothing against Hecht. If he won the job, it is what it is. I'm certainly disappointed that Jones couldn't win the job though. I thought we were going to get better play from the spot than what we are.
