Waud will be the guy that falls and the bombers wont go OL at 2 or 11, They will at 15 tho.

Interesting little tidbit of info here, A couple friends were at that gala dinner yesterday with Chipman,Chevy,Daly (instead of bettman) and someone else from the Jets too, (can't recall who, maybe Heisinger). Anyway, Friends said they had a Q and A session and they took questions off twitter, Chevy got asked a question about Frolik and if he would be back and my friends said that it seemed like he wouldn't be back, Apparently they also had a video and Frolik was not on that video but other players were, Makes me think Frolik is as good as gone. Stuart and Thorburn were in attendance also and Chipman spoke very highly of them, 2 leaders with lots of heart and character. Just an interesting little bit of info there. Sounds like Frolik is not part of the future of the Jets.

Lets do this here, CFL draft on Tuesday Bombers pick 2 11 and 15... Heres how i see it going.. 2. Nic Demski U of M 11. DL Daryl Waud (Think he's the one that falls) 15 OL James Bodanis

Or if you are a beast like Anderson is, it could go quicker than expected too. I'll take his word for it, He's said it a few times now also so i doubt he's bs'ing anyone. Guy stayed here this entire off-season, was in beast mode the whole time rehabbing and getting stronger. My guess, he is ready to go for Camp for sure and has a big year. Our DL really sucked last season once he got hurt. Was a huge loss.

Waud is off to 2 mini camps.
-
At most? 4
-
He could package the 2 picks or one plus let's say buff or Burmi more than likely to move up. But as of now I'd say it's unlikely. As for Armia, can't really comment as I haven't seen him play

Jets have lots of size but they lack that high end skill. Ehlers Morrissey petan provide that

Chiarot is rfa. I think he needs a 1 way deal. Not sure tho.

Shaw Communications named presenting sponsor of Grey Cup
Goalie replied to TrueBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
It is a major announcement tho. Just major in terms of corporate more so. Still a pretty big deal tho. -
Ehlers Copp Morrissey and I think Hellebuyck is a possibility too depending on what happens this off season. Helle is a Damn good goalie. He might be ready now
-
Petan will be very good for the Jets one day. Just so much skill there it's crazy. Not sure it's next season tho. Depends what happens over the summer. Aka it depends on what direction Chevy and Maurice decide to go. Wouldn't shock me if petan is wearing a Jets jersey sometime next season tho.

Gonna be honest. Totally forgot about Dile and could see him being let go maybe traded?

Anyone with knowledge regarding the draft? Any DE worth taking with one of our picks? Waud couldn't. Don't think Tennant could either. Any out there?
-
I have to agree with this logic here. Those guys are bubble guys not surprising. While I don't think 44 gets cut it would Def be surprising if he was.
-
Burmi never even made team Russia did he? Could swear he was cut. Regarding hall. Yup I'd give him a pass too. I don't think Eakins was the only issue there tho. A few different coaches have had that same young group and didn't do much better

I dunno man, some strong rumors and i know they are just rumors but strong rumors floating around on some hockey sites about Halls commitment to the Oilers this past season. Who knows whats true but... it's definitely out there.

I think everyone knows Taylor Hall is a damn good player, I just think some people just question his heart and character at times and for that matter, his ability to stay healthy.
-
I'm just gonna say this, I like JFG, i think he's a good backup and special teams player but... i feel if he's one of our starting receivers, That's probably not good. I mean the guy did make a few clutch grabs last season but basically sat on the bench for long periods of time, I think JFG like i said, good quality backup but not sure i'd want him starting.

Multiple 2015 CFL Combine Participants Failed Drug Tests
Goalie replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Just a thought but does failing these tests even matter? I mean what was the guys name? QUINN SMITH i think, Calgary took him in the first round last year, he failed the drug tests at the combine too. Does it really matter? -
Man, I said this to 17to85 this morning on FB chat and he lit me up. I really thought Bucknor was solid if unspectacular last year. He more than held his own, and I'd have no problem with starting him again this year, if need be. Thought he was a really pleasant surprise last season. With the new rule changes favoring the receiver, unspectacular DBs will not cut it anymore. It also makes me think that there might be a better chance for us to start 2 Canadians at rec. because of this. I was thinking this too, The new rule changes, i think the 2 Bomber DB's it hurts the most are Bucknor and Washington. Everyone seems to have it set in stone that JFG would be that other Canadian Receiver but i'm not sure about that, From all accounts and reports, Kris Bastien had a strong mini camp. Honestly, Kohlert is a lock IMO, the other Canadian receiver spot if we go that route, WIDE OPEN.

Tough Luck for Evan Gill. Must not be fully healed. -
Multiple 2015 CFL Combine Participants Failed Drug Tests
Goalie replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
4 guys i never heard of and then that receiver who caught everything apparently at the E Camp. -
Gives us some options really, Can go 2 Canadian Receivers (Kohlert,JFG/Bastien even) and go all American Secondary. I think i like the sounds of that one.
-
Doubt this changes the bombers approach to the draft coming up very very very soon but it certainly gives them some interesting options for sure. SO who are our 7 starters now? What this move also does is improves our Canadian depth i think significantly. Plus with the draft, 3 picks in the top 15, Yup the Canadian content ain't looking so bad.
