All i will say about concussions is if everytime you get knocked out you get a concussion (which is so not true), then UFC should be out of business since the whole point of UFC is to either 1. knock out your opponent or 2. tap him out I've had concussions and the first one i had was by far the worst, had no idea what happened, no clue... hit the head on the concrete real good, i had no idea, threw up all over the hospital floor, all over... pretty bad concussion that honestly took a week maybe 2 to actually go away.. the others? 3 others, not as bad... but the funny thing about those ones, i wasn't knocked out, i just got knocked in the head, i remember the entire thing really.. one from hockey, got nailed in to the post one game, wasn't out, legit saw stars and yeah.. never thought anything of it until a day later... the other 2... seriously just from hitting my head in the wrong spot really.. one from falling off my chair lol, yup.. fell off and just landed on the wrong spot, felt pretty sick, to the ER.. concussion 3... the last one... just happened about 2 3 months ago.. hit the top of my head on my girlfriends shed... felt ok for about 2 hours but woke up at night with a very bad headache, said, this isn't a normal headache, went to the ER.. concussion. Wasn't knocked out for 3 of the 4 i had, only for the first one. Concussions are weird and is not the same for everybody.. each case needs to be evaluated i suppose on their own. Like i've said, what might give me a concussion might not give someone else one, vice versa too. Very odd, I've looked in to them, they aren't exactly as simple as being knocked out, cuz 3 of my concussions, i wasn't knocked out for, the first one i was. Silly analogy but i could take a baseball bat and hit person A in the head with it and he would be out cold and have a concussion, could take a baseball bat to person B and they could just laugh it off really.. Maybe baseball bat is a bit extreme but... everybody reacts differently. People can and I myself have, read about concussions online or whatever but.... it's different for everybody. It really is. The only thing i know for sure is once you get that first Concussion the second one comes a lot easier and the third and 4th and so on and so on.

I've always thought Demond Washington would look good at SAM, is quick, fast, good tackler, rarely misses his tackle. Think he'd be a good one to try there. Gets him more involved and i like the idea of Demond being more involved and playing closer to the line.

I've heard some pretty strong rumours that buff is ok with a 3 or 4 year deal.. not sure of the money tho... Ladd has to be signed and will be soon i'd imagine, 6 or 7 x 6 is fair for Ladd. He's the Captain, leader of the team on and off the ice. Good guy to have around and in a few years once the kids are ready to actually take over, ladd can always be bumped down to the third line and play less minutes.

Tsn have regional channels. Tsn 3 is ours. Unless you get all 5 channels then the bomber game will always be on tsn 3. If horse racing was on, tsn 3 would cut to the bomber game but in Ontario or BC for example it might not cut in and same thing if an Argo game was in t dot. The regional Toronto channel should have the game but tsn 3 wouldn't until it's over

Concussions aren't as simple as black and white. They are very grey. What might give one person a concussion might not give someone else it.

Nobody is blowing smoke up people's asses but it seems we got lots of doctors in here assuming he had a concussion when it's pretty obvious he didn't. Reality is if he had a concussion he wouldn't be practicing. Who knows what the injury was really but he passed all the actual doctor tests.

The only flaw I see is people who weren't on the field or in the room with him thinking just because he got hit in the head region that he had a concussion. He didn't tho by the sounds of it. Tsn was speculating after the game but they weren't even in winnipeg. He passed the tests.

Just a question to the OP, which rookie qb's you talking about? Cuz Harris isn't a rookie, he's been around a while and has started games in the past.. Do you mean the montreal qb cato? Cuz that's the only rookie qb who has started really... and even then, he wasn't asked to do a whole lot, he basically just managed the game, had some ridiculous help from his receivers an his oc called very much a 50/50 pass run type of O. I think Cato has potential, for sure but.. whenever i see a new qb come in to the league like that, i always think of Ryan Dinwiddie and the i'm gonna say hundreds but it's more like tens upon tens of other rookie qb's who came in and lit it up there first game only to fade off.

I thought the same thing... He sure didn't move much after the hit though.... Well, when you suspect possibly a neck injury, you are told not to move either. So it's hard to say what happened, I dunno. None of us really do. It's all just huge guesses cuz they don't or haven't told us yet... if they even do, a stinger maybe? I dunno, all i really know is if it was indeed a concussion, i don't think he'd be out there today practicing.

Do we even know what happened to him? Maybe he wasn't out cold? maybe they were more concerned about a neck injury or something, We don't even know what happened, can assume it's concussions and all this but... it might not be and if he's out there on the field practicing and running the first team reps, I'd say, it wasn't a concussion at all.

I think it's early and i think the D will eventually adjust to the new rules and you will see things calm down once again... I like it, i don't like that the refs are on the tv screen more than the players are (I think the refs need to let them play a bit at times) but... eventually D's will adjust. After all, it's still just football.

Well, that injury did happen very early in the game, I know everyone is a doctor lol and all this stuff but judging from my own past experiences with head injuries (i've had 4 concussions through the years now) Sometimes the ones that you think are guaranteed to do damage, they don't. The fact that it happened early in the game, who knows.. head injuries are very interesting things. Sometimes like i said the ones you think are gonna do the most damage don't at all... It's odd actually. TSN was speculating hardcore and i wish they wouldn't do that, he's gonna be out 3 4 weeks they said on the panel. Kind of makes them look like big time morons. Who knows, maybe Willy didn't even get a concussion, maybe he was just knocked out for a bit. Everyone always thinks oh my god, head shot.. concussion for sure... but sometimes, you just get knocked out. No real lingering effects. This might be one of those incidents where Willy was just out for a bit. No concussion. One would assume if he's practicing then yeah, it wasn't a concussion.

Burmi went home to play for his hometown team, Can't really fault the guy for doing that. Seems like he's matured a bit actually, i hope so at least. Oduya? LOL, not a chance, there is a reason he is still a free agent as of today too, it's because he's over pricing himself, he wasn't very good here the first time around and theres no chance in hell that he's brought back.
