Ya. Grocery owners are d bags. Tent cities have always been a thing but more so after Covid it seems, food banks are always full. My daughter and I picked up some stuff for Siloam over the holidays. So I was in Toronto during the summer for a few days and I saw more bomber ads or billboards driving down Disraeli bridge than I saw anything Argos in Toronto. That’s not a cfl problem. That’s a Toronto argonauts problem. Winnipeg makes money. There’s no reason other places with more people shouldn’t. Comes down to wade and crew do more to promote the bombers than billionaire owners in Toronto do. The owner on bc, you can go on about his tactics but he’s done more in 1 year or 2 for the lions than MLSE has ever done for the Argos. our economy isn’t shitty by the way. Canada is doing pretty well actually all things considered. You market the game in each market differently. What works in bc or Winnipeg might not work in Toronto. John candy owned the Argos at one point and promoted the **** out of them and they filled the skydome. It’s about marketing and MLSE don’t do that. Argos are a write off. But blue jays raptors leafs so how much sports dollars is there. Also the soccer team. Toronto also loves the superstar and the Argos don’t got that guy anymore. Rocket ismail. Doug Flutie types. Ricky ray was good but no personality there. Kelly? He’s a rapist. That’s not good.

This is weird tho. These guys look elite. Like they legit flipped a switch. Like how far are we back? Is it possible 5 or 6 7 wins in a row gets us back in?

I’d agree with Bryant Jefferson and even Kyrie Wilson but Neufeld is a Canadian oline. I think he can play center and guard and prob tackle in a pinch. Thats an ideal 6th OL. Canadian oline don’t grow on trees, Neufeld is a good one and if being honest, looked better than big Stan last season. Koala takes the heat but he wasn’t the only oline who struggled last year. Big Stan had his struggles also as did Wallace and koala. Neufeld and Randolph were pretty solid tho.

I dunno. Bryant wasn’t really that great last season. He was beat more times last year than his previous years combined. Now maybe that was an entire oline issue but I honestly wouldn’t be opposed to moving on from 40 yr old players. But he’s earned the right to go out how he wishes. Neufeld is a guy I’d bring back tho as he’s a bit more versatile than big Stan and Canadian.

I’m a Gus fan. I think he has stood out at the moose games I’ve been 2. Him Yager and Fagemo (he’s slow tho and awful defensively but laine like release) have all looked good at forward. I’d call up Gus cuz he’s better than Nyquist Pearson and prob a few others. Solid defensively and great at face offs. Great at the pk also.

Possibly. Could also be he’s not as awful as he looks on the moose. Perhaps moose coaching ain’t up to snuff. Guys look 10x better when they called up. Not sure if that’s motivation to stay up or poor coaching on the moose

I think he’s on the roster next year full time. Either playing with Josh or 3rd pair as both miller and Schenn are free agents. The Phillips recall is interesting as the couple moose games I’ve been 2 this season he hasn’t stood out at all. Gus requires waivers. Might not clear. Zhilkin has raised his game tho. Don’t hate the 4th line.

You gotta wonder what type of coach O’Shea is looking to bring in. O or D? Maybe a bit of both? Cuz the staff is pretty full now it seems. We have a QB coach a RB coach. OL coach. DL. LB. DC. Sp teams. I mean am I missing 1 even. Like do we really need another positional coach?

He’s QB coach in Calgary now. Sounds like it was a mutual decision to move on. Unfortunately last year it sounds like maybe his mind was elsewhere. And rightfully so.

Schenn tho wasn’t overly thrilled about being traded here last year so there’s prob some smoke around this one. But honestly what playoff team wants a slow washed up D man.

I don’t mind him. He sounds smart and like he knows what he’s talking about. I’d take blm Zach and let’s say Lapo and Sanchez or muamba for the defensive perspective on the panel.

Well. Then don’t complain when we don’t sign free agents really. You can’t bring everyone back and honestly Sergio wasn’t even that great. He’s certainly no medlock. And sayles is gonna cost whatever Hamilton paid him and they think he wasn’t worth it.

But he’s a center and an elite one at that. McKenna is a winger. But he can probably drive line 2 immediately but so could stenberg and he’s a center. You can’t go wrong top 5 with verhoff and Lawrence also. And the other D. Reid. Stenberg would be my pick. Plus we seem to like Swedes here. He’d fit in. He’s also ppg player in the shl at 18. Dude is generational. He’s a generational Swede.

And Schenn in my opinion is lucky to be in the nhl and playing as much as he has. He’s part of the defensive problem. I believe it. He prob would rather be on a contender as he’s super old and sucks. Wife prob whining about the cold. Kids apparently love it tho. lol. They could waive him Nyquist and Pearson to the moose and they would clear. But at the deadline if you retain on them and jets would have to you might get a 4th rd pick.

Man some time ago at the theatre I bought online tickets and we chose the balcony cuz I thought cool a balcony and it was like front row. And that pissed me off and ever since then I’ve bought tickets in person cuz I’m not someone who cares if he’s first to see something. That was for frozen 2 tho. Was still good and kid enjoyed but still… never again. Was packed.
