This is a long thread about sask's back-up QB.... I can't imagine how much they're talking about Brohm over at Riderfans...

I wonder if Sask's interest in him is any indication of Durant's recovery from last year's injury... or maybe it's just insurance... I don't think one injury suddenly makes Durant "injury prone"....

I hope, at least, they have ridiculously overpaid to get him...

That's interesting... I always thought QC would be a good location for a CFL team... I guess that is a major issue...

You'd think that Bomber fans would be the last people this needs to be explained to.... No kidding. Joey Elliot, Alex Brink, Max Hall....that's just the last few years and I'm probably forgetting a couple. All very effective arguments against rushing a QB into playing time. Max Hall would be an example of the problem with signing an "older" QB... Max was already 28 (maybe 27?) when he got here so his window of peak time was closing.... ideally you want to sign a developmental QB at 25 or younger...

More than just protecting Willy... a revamped o-line combined with a healthy Cotton... could give us a dominant run game for the first time in years

I like Steve Morley... probably more as a person than a player though (same with January)... I wouldn't mind having him around as insurance if his cap hit is reasonable...

IMO it's not so much the colour... it's the style... If we had the 70's style uniform in navy blue I think would go over a lot better... though I prefer royal blue

Leggett is too good at safety to be moving up to LB...

Craig Button calls Lemieux a "lock to be a second line power forward"... he also considers our prospects "#1 in the league"...that's pretty exciting... Hope Meyers works out, if we can rejuvenate his potential and get a good player with the 1st rounder this could be a land-slide trade...

Does anyone know if he still has the reno business? Sounds like he's got himself set up nicely for post-retirement... like any smart CFLer would... best of luck to him...
