If he didn't notice it or he didn't instruct the player (Moore?) to line up properly, its still on O'Shea.

Well, there it was. If we needed any more convincing that O'Shea needs to go, that bonehead oversight in not getting his people lined up properly with the game on the line ought to convince all but the delusional.

Since this thread seems to be serving as a gameday thread, over at the Stamp's fan forum, the consensus is that they will score about 40 points and the Bombers will rack up no more than 20. Of some note, the recently departed Jasper Simmons was described as a very good rah-rah locker room/sidelines guy who couldn't crack the roster in Cowgary. The speculation was that the Bombers will really miss his energy. Sounds like what many here have been expecting- another blowout.

Being able to identify Canadian players as such is a big part of my loyalty to the Bombers and CFL. No Canadian players, little interest- I may as well follow the Arena Football League.

Yup. Calgary is not the juggernaut they were the last couple of years and very beatable. The difference is the coaching and the number of brain cramps, but we ought to be able to tell pretty soon in the game if the Bombers' hearts are in it.

You are ignoring what I see as key aspects: O'Shea presumably chose his assistant coaches and at least three have proven to be very poor choices. What makes you think he will choose better given another opportunity? He took two months to mull over whether to fire an obviously horrible defensive coach before he pulled the trigger, and then there are his really poor assessments of his quarterbacks and choices of game personnel. Add these up and it sure as spit looks like we need a new head coach. oh noes! Two whole months? also wasnt he essentially saddled with MB? Hall has been outstanding as a DC as well.. he was an O'shea pick i'm assuming? It would depend if one out of three is OK- pretty much like the Bomber win/loss record on his watch.
