Holm is a very solid HB. Unless we are picking up an all-star it is hard to see how we could do better. If his salary expectation is nutso, sure, our scouting has clearly demonstrated that they are unbelievably good at recruiting DBs...but otherwise we would be nuts to let him go.

I dunno...we have had great success in just putting new guys there for quite a few yrs now, so I don't think that should be a reason not to replace a guy. Who knows as well who could be available if FA...going into our Grey Cup at home shot.
I do agree tho...would love to see him at safety to see what he has there....especially if he not having to play that odd role we tried with BA before. I think his abilty to drift and close on a ball in the air would serve him way better there.
We also still have Parker who has been hurt this yr with a who knows what injury, but he is still young....very athletic and was the better of the 2, and was one of the better tacklers on the squad....so be interesting to see if he gets a shot in 2025 as well

Saying we definitely need to be moving on from Holm is just nuts. How can you compare him to over the hill expensive vets?

I'd say Nichols....Then Ford and Bonds a close second...interchangeable raelly tho teams tend to avoid Bonds...a lot....Griffin factors in there too in the top 3....he's been lights out in all his roles....Holm has been...well Holm...decent...does some good things but has been beat a lot...and lacks physicality...I soooo wanna see him at Safety....All-star there 
Kramdi...tho "tchnically" a line backer....I will give him props with his work in the box and mucking it up close to line of scrimmage...He goes hard and has made impact plays.....but cover wise...scares the crap outta me and is not good in that role...Hence why I think Younger likes to throw in Griffin and Hallett/Kelly...
BA when traditional safety playing over the top  and in tandem is good...alone in space...man sometimes I wonder wtf he doing....yikes

Here’s my official stars 
1. Brady. He’s the MOP 
2. Zach. He’s looked 3 years younger the last several games. 

3. Dbs in general. Bo had nothing to throw to really. 
 
HH. Kramdi. His best game and he’s had a few now. 

The Tait turning point (screw tsn) 
Bolo busts the 71 yard gain, griffin makes a great stop at the 1,  then the turning point. Scoring from the 1 is near automatic. Garbutt blows up the play with a stop for a 4 yard loss. Taking the cats out of sneak in range forced them to throw and gave Kramdi the chance to make a huge play.
