Buck can do better but yeah the O has had a bad run of injuries and changes this year. Pokey has been nice filling in for Bailey but the drop off from Schoen to Johnson is a bottomless pit. 

For all we know Corny has moved on from football at this point... The two they are bringing in seem to be the most logical... 

Now we're hoarding QBs. I guess we expect to play the Riders in the playoffs. 

We need to let Wilson grow into the short yardage package as at best Strev won't be available until July if not later
We need to acquire a guy for #2 that has starter experience/reps and knows the league by any means possible...that's rhe only option really 
And in my opinion it is Corny if we can't get Masoli or Shiltz 

I see CGY has Shiltz back practicing.....maybe to make him available for a swap?

Alright you guys have convinced me. Corny it is... can't see they paying the price anyone would ask for someone better.

I'd be in Corny's ear
in 2022 on a crap crap team and environment he threw for almost 2800 yards with 11 TD's and 9 picks....ran for 500 more with 7 td's
Plus he has history with Lawler and Lawler made some crazy sick catches with Corny tossing the ball out to him....That be my target
Plus he only 28....and really many a player has looked significantly better in a new environment...We have seen the Prukopps...Pipkins...Bananaboy....all still look like garbage in multiple places

That’d be top of my list. If we can get him for a reasonable price like a 3rd/4th that converts to a higher pick if he takes over as starter I’d pull the trigger. 
 
I kind of dread picking up dolegala. He’s exactly the nfl trap prospect I loathe. Giant size and weight with reasonable cfl athleticism, big arm strength, the high potential low production, and the calm disinterest that looks like poise. 
 
He’d be better than poopkup or davis being brought in.  But low on the list for me. He’s a poor man’s Taylor Cornelius.  Corny is significantly more athletic, has better deep accuracy, some better less tangibles like ball fakes, and most importantly mental toughness. That kid took a beating for 3 years and started on the worst team with little talent around him and didn’t crack. And with corny, we could always use him in strevelers role as qb3 and get some one like Masoli. 

Maybe JJ wants to unretire for the stretch run????

He has 138 yards receiving in 10 games.  Still has not passed Schoen's totals from not even 3 full games and Schoen didn't have a great start to the season. 
The last 4 games he has 2 catches for 21 yards.
How is this acceptable for an import receiver? 
For the love of god please try someone else there.

Adams and Bailey were both excellent blockers but they could catch too.

Lucky is making the first guy miss getting his 10 yards and hitting a wall of coverage. 
Like mixing him in on O to keep the D honest. That jet sweep was nice in particular how he dove forward at the end to maximize the yardage. Could have danced around and tried to break it but decided to get what he could and set up 2nd and short to run the clock. 

No, but he also isn’t making big mistakes. And provides value on offense. Unless we found another grant level elite kr, I don’t think it’d make a difference. 
Yeah and if it was a regular year for no yards our return team would be doing much better. But we’ve actually done a stellar job of blocking and pressuring kicks this year too. Iirc we’ve blocked 3 punts this year for 1 td and two deep red zone starts on offence. 

yup...for what he can offer and do on offence....hping we actually use it accordingly, he really offers us nothing in the negative....He still has elite speed and is a risk to pop off from anywhere...it's gonna come....and hopefully when it really matters
Johnson tho?...easily replaced...I'd even just use Clercius there and not allocate him to who we have to have as a Canadian on the offensive side of the ball....he can still also do his role in the short and jumbo packages, and can slide Lucky out to that spot....and allows us to get Adams on the roster...or Fox...Or Brian Cole.....

The OL ain't exactly up to snuff either.

Shiltz could run our offence just fine...plus he has escapability and can run, and if our line still springs leaks from time to time that would be a plus
Wilson is total development, but I like his body type and skill set for short yardage....and from what we saw in pre-season and in practice....you could roll him out too, as he has a nice knack for throwing on the run

He’s definitely the worst passer of them. Wilson looked good on short yardage. They should bring in a passer, stay the hell away from Prukop 

#32 Michael Griffin lll also had a good game today.

If Strev is done for yr.....we need to pick up a vet guy
Do we trade for one?.....and who gives us one?...Only player I can see who might is Cgy with Shiltz...especially if they lose today....Maybe they offer up Maier....Long shot Hamilton with Powell
Other than that there is Dolegala...Corny...Fine....pickins are pretty damn slim but we cant go with 2 rookies behind ZC
