I don't think anyone thinks everything is alright but I'm of the opinion now that who knows what can happen if they make the playoffs. 
No team is a world beater this year and just need to get hot at the right time. 
Just to add to this because I was curious. The 2019 bombers limped into the playoffs with a 2-4 record after the banjo bowl. You never know.

The way I look at it is that sports can make me happy, but sports is not allowed to make me feel sad or angry or disappointed or whatever for more than a minute or two. 
Picked up that attitude in 1996, when I was legit depressed for an entire year after both the Jets and Ottawa Rough Riders went away and people were talking about how the Hamilton Snow Bowl might be the last Grey Cup.  
There's lots of things to be miserable about, don't need to include my hobbies.  Nowadays I'm just thankful for every kickoff.  Respect to those whose passion for the blue runs deeper, though.

Important factor with CFL "cap" is that unless money paid in bonuses or guaranteed it hasn't been counted yet.
More than could have afforded Lawler.  They made a decision to move on.
And we have no receivers that suit our starting quarterback's style.

sometimes... other times we had the exact same problems we've had this year. Yeah he had games like the west final, but that wasn't all the the time. guy isn't as consistent as he was several seasons ago. 
not paying him huge money wasn't the mistake. the mistake is in what replaced him.

Expected no Zach, still sucks. No Nichols is concerning.

Logan got hurt in camp and clearly hasn't recovered.  No problem in signing him, that's just bad luck. 
Mitchell came in slow and unprepared and hasn't looked like his old self at all. 
Really expected Kyrie to be hurt by now and we'd be seeing JJones. 

Ya I'm not saying he's been bad but I just didn't expect him to stay healthy.
