Worthy, Alford. Hell, Perry Floyd. Anyone’s better than who we have now.
Alford is still a Rider.
worthy would be a good add. Clear that Mitchell is not a returner.

Who had Johnny Augustine in the lock of the week?

Oline not doing their part too. Too many guys in ZC’s face. No big running lanes yet either

They can be in all game without both Kramdi and Gauthier...we only need to have 1 Canadian on the field at any given time as we only declare 1 as a Canadian position...and 6 on offence
Ya man that’s my point. Would be foolish to take off an American LB and lose that ability. Especially if there’s an injury

Yes, because Ayer’s and Cole are on the roster. So if you take one off you still have one imp back up. The same depth as the dl and secondary. Taking Ayer’s off for a de would perfectly even out the imp depth. Then a start and an imp have to get hurt at any position to put you in a bad spot. That’s the point.
No I think you’re wrong here. Cole is listed as a backup but hopefully will be rotating in like a starter and taking out a Canadian. With everyone healthy Wilson and cole can be in at the same time, either with Gauthier or Kramdhi. If one of the imports gets hurt, and Ayers were off the roster, then you’re stuck playing the Canadians with no American to rotate in.

no, ayers would go in. If cole AND wilson went down then you'd be onto gauthier or kramdi. If two guys go down at the same position any where on the field youre in trouble,.
You were talking about taking off the backup LB to get a DE on. Ayers wouldn’t on the roster.

No because we have Cole. I was complimentary of our defensive roster as well if you read the posts lol.
If Cole or Wilson goes down then you’d have Gauthier or Kramdi playing every down.
I agree if it would be nice to have another DE on the roster but with the limitations on Americans you can only have so many American backups playing.

Thomas or an ni ol for Hubert.
only go one imp wr as kr and 5 th.
Ayers since we have Cole could come off for an imp.If that happened you’d be complaining we have no import LB depth.
I’m all for complaining about roster management after last year but this is getting ridiculous.
I’m glad Hubert shows enough promise to stick around on the PR but he’s an 8th round pick for godsake

considering Upshaw..Rivers were just here..showed they can play...and we have open spot on the PR....nice PR use...again
Don’t know which American would come off the roster though. The back up DB? Then we’d all complain about the lack of depth there.
could use a cdn DE. Mason Bennett coming still?

I guess my point is that Jackson was a useless body... at least the guys on the roster now aren't useless regardless of the starter/backup distinction. Guys will take meaningful reps, contribute on special teams, whatever. Jackson played but didn't do **** not even on teams.
Exactly. He was an American that wasn’t good at any of the positions he played.

McGhee is a prime candidate for that.McGhee isn’t even on the active roster so we’ve avoided that to start the season at least

You surely have to admit he was feast or famine last year, and sure wasn’t feast mode in the playoffs.
It was but to be fair in the playoffs he was playing with a bunch of receivers that couldn't move.

is it up?
Pretty much an all rookie line up. Looking forward to seeing Smith at RB and the LBs at least.

I don’t really think we need a playmaker out there. Block, find the soft spots in coverage, be sure handed and that’s all I really hope for. We’re talking about the fifth option in our offense at best here, right? Need those details more than I need a 1000 yard threat.
Agree, but that is pretty much Woli's role already. I think the 5th guy should be one who could in theory step up and fill in for Schoen or Lawler if they get hurt.

Honestly would rather have a well-rounded guy. Lawler, Demski and Schoen are vertical threats. There's not going to be much use for another. Saw that even with someone like Agudosi. Limited usefulness down the route tree and can't make a team.
If they want speed it better be a guy who can be useful in intermediate and do something after the catch.
Would be nice to have a guy that would be dangerous on a bubble screen and crossing patterns.

Agree that we don't necessarily need the import to take on Bailey's blocking role if Clercius can come into that role sometimes

Agree. Not clear why he is getting defensive reps at all.
