Is it too soon to mention we could have taken Durant or Waud instead of Morgan?

WildPath reacted to Eternal optimist in Best value for season seats
My wife and I have our seats in section 109 right behind the away team bench. Excellent for heckling and awesome when the place is really bumping.
Close enough that when you hit a player with a beer bottle, he stays down.

The analytics have their place, but shouldn't solely be relied on. They are a complimentary piece to help give you a complete picture
When you see the outliers (high or low) it can give you direction to take a closer look at a guy as to why the stats are coming out that way. It can also be used to validate what you are seeing visually.
With how competitive professional sports are in trying to gain any advantage over your competition, dismissing them completely is just as dumb as solely relying on them.
They are a tool, and like any tool, success willl depend on if you know how to use it properly.

This is more of a commentary on Offensive Coordinators than anything...

Is anyone else thrilled by the fact that we're this close to training camp and the most contentious issue is who our 5th receiver is going to be?

JFG is 29 coming off a 167 yard season though...

To those saying we are fine with Coates and Richards, you do realize that Coates career high for a season is 44 receiving yards and Richards has one catch for 12. I'd say I can who can put up 350-400 yards like Watt is an upgrade.

Ritchott isn't that small for a tailback and he runs with a lot of power. He's played rugby at a fairly high level and could have continued with that too. He's not shy about contact or hard work. The Bombers would be smart to claim him while they can. I played against and with Harris, I've coached against Ritchott in football and rugby, Ritchott is up there with Harris in terms of pure skill, probably a little more mature in his early 20s than Harris. Those two and Demski are the absolute terrors with the ball I've seen in this province in my time. This guy will play in the CFL.

Hopefully this water business Waggoner is retiring for isn't like one of those dumb multi-level marketing online businesses like the Kangen water stuff. Ugh, so annoying seeing someone turn their fb into an online-business and continually posting dumb **** about their revolutionary products.

The ratio of Rider retirees to Bomber retirees is 20 to 1 so its still amusing.

Shame about Waggoner. The supplemental draft has not been kind to us. Think we could trade him to Sask now?

7.2 ypc last year. just sayin. Normand never looked bad running the ball. He did have a bobble a pass or two however.
I think the issue is adaption and use of the offense. Not personnel. 2 of the top 3 rushers in the league were NI last year. When you get out side the top 5 I dont buy one bit that those teams wouldnt have been better off using a NI rb. Teams still perceive it to be a spot to use a imp, even though rb usage is soo low these days.
Guys like shaq murray lawrence, lafrance, and anthony coombs get modestly better treatment then NI qbs. Big body backs like lumbala and normand show some flashes but remain under used. There seems to be a good amount of guys coming out who are athletic, H-back/fback/te prospects who get stuck on teams and forgotten. Id rather start a guy like normand, then half imp rbs thats started last year for various teams. Especially if you are going to run soo infrequently. These are the perfect guys to run on 2nd and 3 type plays, to pass protect, and block and release.
I wonder what the last team to start a NI rb for most of the season was that did poorly.
