As far as Streveler goes, let’s be clear. He wasn’t great again tonight but put up the standard 220 yards of offence. If anyone thinks Nichols puts up appreciably more than that, or the result is any different, I don’t know what to tell you.

Say what you want about Streveler. O’Shea takes the right approach to going for two and doesn’t leave points on the table and the Bombers win, or bare minimum take it to OT.

no this website is an echo chamber. There's a mob who hates Nichols and will do anything to support Streveler yet have 0 stats to back it up!
"But Streveler rushed for 100 yards!!"
.....yeah but Mitchell almost threw for 400.
Chris Streveler is worse than the best QB in the league. Colour me shocked.

I don't care, I'm sick of the bullshit play at the quarterback position, be offended all you want.
Your grasp of how to have a meaningful debate without humiliating yourself is more offensive than anything that has happened on the football field this season.

If you can’t convert 2/3 two point converts, you deserve to lose. To not even attempt them is straight up cowardice. Totally different end of the game if they’re within three points.

I like a lot of things about O’Shea but his refusal to ever go for 2 will cost this team a few games. Smart coaches will take advantage of that and leave the Bombers chasing points all game.

Calgary runs such a beautiful offence designed to get slotbacks wide open in motion in the middle of the field. It’s really something to behold and makes Lapo looks especially incompetent.

I really wish Whitehead weren’t so awful.

Far, FAR worse QBs than Streveler have won Grey Cups. With far worse supporting casts too. Not saying it’s likely but it’s far from impossible. There are no juggernauts in the league this season.

Depends how high your IQ is, if you can read nuance. You've made it abundantly clear.
Forgive me for forgetting that you’re the king of subtle nuance. Maybe lines like “Streveler is a joke” and “Streveler is trash” were what fooled me.

coming from the guy who thought when I said he can't throw to mean he doesn't know how to throw a football.
Genius.
Oh, when you said “he can’t throw” you didn’t mean “he can’t throw”? How silly of me.

Lmao if arm strength is the only valuable skill for a quarterback Michael Bishop got robbed by the NFL.
You said he can’t throw. That’s fairly demonstrably untrue.

What I said:
Nichols is the better quarterback and its not close.
you inferred that to mean:
Best qb we have right now with a shoulder injury
maybe take some night classes in reading comprehension?
Pretty much every scouting report out of college suggested Streveler has a good/NFL quality arm but had issues with pocket awareness that are still a work in progress. So either all the scouts are wrong or you’re wrong. Considering arm strength is largely an objective measurement, I’ll go with you being wrong.

Judging by Nichols stats after 24 starts, perhaps some would come to the conclusion that he also couldn’t throw! And now he’s coming off a major throwing shoulder injury.

Insightful.
