So after Willy rightly chooses somewhere else to play what do we do? Sign a former US college star with a limited NFL resume, tout him as the next hot prospect and hope nobody notices we're in the exact same sitch as last year after the Max Hall and Chase Clement signings?

Might as well give Hank the money because if we don't sign him Willy will have us over a barrel and we'll just end up giving him whatever he wants anyway. If we lose out on trading for Glenn. signing Collaros, and signing Hank we'll practically have no choice but to back up the Brinks truck for Drew. Well sir, while I may not agree with what you say, I'll defend to the death your right to say it. IMO Neiswander has a much better arm than Max Hall, Hall struggles to throw over 10 yards. You would literally die to defend JBR's right to slam Josh Neiswander's arm strength on an internet message board?

If the glass is half full take is that "We'll sign Henry and that will give us time to find and develop the next super-star QB" then that's being pretty presumptive. We haven't found and developed the next super start QB in 25 years and we're not likely about to start now no matter what kind of genius Danny Mac is supposed to be. And there's no reason to think we'll get Willy unless we pass on Hank. On the bright side Hank should be able to get us to at least 5 or 6 wins next year. That's like double the wins.

To me, this is a positive development. I figured Aprile would "retire" to pursue his teaching career or what ever it was and then eventually show up on the Ticats PR. Getting something for him is a pleasant surprise.

IGF could have been built in time if they had the money to pour into doing so. Somebody above mentioned double shifts. If they are willing to pay for that it makes a big difference spread over six months.

The expansion draft "killed" the Bombers?? Will that mean we'll have to change the name of this site to Mourning Big Blue? Only decent Canadian receiver we had & he was drafted. Replacing Palardy with Sandro was one of the weirder decisions of the past year.

If Marcel hadn't agreed to come here last year we would probably be hailing him as a saviour right now. Marcel sucks Crowton sucks. Barresi sucks Lapo sucks. Or maybe something else sucked all along. I say we could do worse. If we get Callaros and improve the OL at least a bit MArcel can get the job done.

The thing is, and I'm not trying to be argumentative, is that is probably not true. Because the people that do grade him out brought him back. It could be the youthful OL's we have so much hope for (Swisten, Pencer) really suck according to the new coaches. Or that we will just end up cutting Morley before the season. Not that I like either of these guys anymore than the rest of you. It's just that as of now we need them because they haven't adequately been replaced, yet.

The important thing is we didn't lose Boltus.
