That quote is out of context. They were discussing the potential to recieve NCAA offers or NFL offers. Then it quotes him saying he'd prefer the NFL.

I absolutely did. When he reupped with the Argos earlier, I was surprised as I thought he'd look for opportunities to move up. When it became known that it was between him and Buck, I said the smart choice is Mace. The strength of that Argos team was always the defense. He had a really strong roster but he also got the absolute best out of them. And from all accounts the team loved the guy. Who knows how he'll do now that he's the man, but saying he wasn't a top choice is just wrong.

Just replace Maces name with Buck in your rant and the same is true....with the exception of the spoon fed part.

Like one poster told me I was advocating for the Bombers to move on from Collaros, even though I've never said that. And when I asked them to prove I had posted something like that, they just vanished and pretended like they never accused me of doing that.

I honestly think the smart move is Mace. That guy is an excellent coach and I hope he's on the Bomber staff one day. Nothing against Buck of course. He's been good too.

That's the thing though. Very very very very rarely do you find a team that isn't in dire need of repair looking for a new HC. It wasn't like the Bombers were an attractive place when MOS came on board. This idea that these guys need to wait for a team that isn't a mess is a myth. Buck will essentially never leave then. Which maybe he wants, take over from MOS one day?...but if he doesn't want to wait. He's going to be walking into a mess. That will be his only option.

Not really. Good teams have players/coaches etc poached all the time. The fact they've been able to keep people here for so long has been a bonus, but isn't something I think we should expect moving forward. "Let Brown walk" as if it's only up to MOS? Brown wants his own team. The Bombers have too much cash tied up in Collaros to let him go. There's no real trade market for him. Again, this isn't a "they don't want to keep good talent!" So much as a good teams lose good players, just like they always have....in basically every sport.

I think Brown has a good chance to be a high caliber qb. But...did anyone expect Zach to say something else about him? Why are some taking it as gospel that Brown is the next coming. Lol. Like what team have we been watching? Players will never throw anyone under any kind of bus anytime. Ever...Zach was as much playing the media as he was complimenting Brown.

Normally I'd agree....but...qb is the one spot where the team has been willing to make changes. Willy was his guy, then Nichols, then Strev, now Collaros. I don't think they move on from him honestly, but I'm not sure it's not going to happen either.
