  1. No, my arguments have been based on the WHY. Not the what. You've stated multiple opinions as if they're facts. Hindsight is what it is. But at the time multiple people agreed with the moves they made. Those moves just haven't panned out.
  2. Im not saying Mitchell is the answer either. Case got his chance. And didnt do anything with it. Im not expecting much from him moving forward, but i do hope im wrong. Playing at south Dakota is very different from playing in the CFL.
  3. He made it last year as well....and in his opportunities when they needed a rec to step up in a big way...he didn't.
  4. I disagree that they should shut him down. I think that would hurt his rebound more than help. He needs to get on the field and play through the mental stuff until it's not there. You can't get that in practice/training etc. His knee definitely needs to be healthy for him to be on the field though. FTFY
  5. To be fair, Lawler leaving the first time didn't hurt the Bombers in the slightest. And it actually provided room for Schoen to get on the roster. But I agree....Walters work these past few off seasons has been going downhill year over year. Stove walks...not replaced to this day. Grant...now Lawler...ugh
  6. Yeah I was fully believing Lawler would be back at a reasonable (but still high) dollar amount during the off season. I was surprised he left but not surprised the Bombers let him leave. I also went on record saying if they had to choose between Schoen and Lawler....Schoen would be the right one. All of that has been wrong lol. Lawler is looking like he's taken his game to another level and Schoen may not ever be what he was. And now making our QB play with RECs who don't match his style (Big guys who go up and get the ball) is just building on that mistake. Maybe Case blows up this week and absolutely proves us wrong. But I'm not holding my breath.
  7. agreed. Though I've always thought athletes should be able to bet for themselves. Not against obviously.
  8. I'm hoping things evolve as the season goes on (especially on Defense) and we see more of the low snap count/PR guys get involved and older vets get less time on the field. I'm really hoping that's the plan...cause if I have to watch another mesh absolutely torch the defense I'm going to lose my mind.
  9. I saw that and thought it was a bit odd they would make him the face of it. Just makes the situation even weirder imo lol.
  10. Again....this is YOUR narrative. Since that announcement has come out, the CFLPA has stated that it's not sure where that money will be allocated. Or even if it's going to materialize. https://3downnation.com/2025/03/27/cfl-salary-cap-increase-not-set-in-stone-cflpa-still-working-through-revenue-share-allocation/#:~:text=“There's never going to be,available%2C please check again soon. Yes, you made up that there is a morale issue in the locker room. There hasn't been any reports of that or even rumours. It's something you've decided might be a thing, based on nothing other than players who left for unknown (as in, we don't know if the club tried to keep them or not) reasons. You're making things up.
  11. I think he can become one in the right system. Whatever they tried against BC isn't it though.
  12. yeah sorry those comments were directed at you specifically.
  13. Last year I honestly put that almost solely on Buck. They knew what didn't work against the argos and decided to try it anyway.
  14. that doesn't mean Walters was being lazy though. They could have had money in place for other players...maybe some worked out by upping their offer...or maybe some didn't and they weren't able to sign some players. And when those priorities settled, they had enough money to make an offer to Ford that he would accept. "Hey we're not going to be able to get to Fords #'s unless priorities A-B and C don't happen." Turns out A-B and C don't happen, and they make an offer to Ford. Which turns out to be too late. This or any number of other scenarios could have happened. So there was a plan...priorities shifted and they could move forward with offering a field side corner way more than he should be making. This idea there was "no plan" is idiotic.
  15. Yeah I don't like thinking about it...I don't get the Mitchell situation.
  16. The west is really confusing this year. Each team has looked good and bad. Though to be fair to cgy, their bad game came with absolute crap weather. Buuut that doesn't bode well for later in the year either.
  17. While we're making things up. I think the rise in pre-game beer and hotdog prices points to the financial struggles this team is facing.
  18. He wasnt exactly make great decisions that game either
  19. I hope it's nice. I'm getting a nice treat that game. Was nominated for coach of the week. My club (Rods) get $500 donation and I'm getting a $100 GC to the Bomber store and get to go on the field for pregame with my boy.
  20. Things could really go either way in any game this week.
  21. Line of scrimmage has more impact than coaching imo.
  22. ....lol....this year ok....its not Bo hasn't looked like dog **** for the majority of the last few years.
