3 OL - RB - 2 WR - Lawson & Kramdi. Though it does appear they're going 3 WR.

Looks like Kramdi is likely moving to Safety. He's been filling that spot every day at TC. I don't understand this continuing story line that they're starting 3 American OL. I don't see it happening at all.

I believe he was put on the 6 game (is that allowed now?) At least thats what someone mentioned on the other forum. If thats the case, the rumor of an Achilles might have some weight....which would really suck for him.

I think they've done the opposite quiet a bit. Bring in a vet...put him in the spot whether he's being out performed or not and wait until 3 or 4 games into the season before deciding to move on, sometimes forced to by injury even. For me it's a good sign that they got rid of him if they felt like they have someone else who can get it done.

I guess if people are that sensitive about it, I can understand. But I don't understand why people would be that sensitive about it. The kid is confident in his abilities and wants to dominate. Him saying it doesn't make him any more arrogant than every other player on the team who feels exactly the same way but was never given the opportunity to be interviewed.

I know some people get ruffled feathers over this. But the vast majority of guys who come to the CFL, especially when they're young feel this way. The CFL isn't the goal.

BC and Edmonton....that Edmonton game in particular...I think he had over 400yrds in that one.

I saw JT last weekend, he has dropped a few pounds. I wouldn't be too worried about that happening. Yeah that's the thing with this topic...how much weight do you put into the teams around the guy. BLM had some absolute monster WRs/Olines/RBs and defenses. Collaros as well, especially in 2021. Without that defense the team looks very different. Essentially all Great QBs were on great teams...how much of that greatness is on the QB as compared to the rest of the team around them?

His route running isn't the best that's for sure. But I suppose that's to be expected.

You're forgetting Moon. He's got to be in the convo. And there just isn't a world where I'm putting KG above Collaros in a list of all timers. The question on BLM vs Collaros is a good one. Both had fantastic starts to their careers...then fizzled....then came back, though on the ZC has an advantage on the come back....BLM advantage on the start.

I can't stand the way he interacts with people online. It's insanely disrespectful. But I'm willing to give him a chance to with colour commentary. Though, it's a shame they couldn't/wouldn't find a former CFLer for that role.

They have to do both. Something quick to get more revenue hopefully....and copy the bombers approach. Fun fact....Bombers hosted the 2nd coaching clinic in as many months for free. First was flag football. Today's was tackle. Head coach of the University of Guelph was here along with u of m coaches. All hosting sessions that went over various aspects of the game and best approaches to coaching. It included 2 meals. Met Coach Hull when I got lost in the basement if the Pas looking for the bathroom. Nice guy.

Could you imagine if you were playing in the finals and like...your QB fumbled the ball and while jumping on it snapped his arm? That would suck. Or maybe your MVP Caliber QB scrambles around and ends up shattering his leg in the East finals...like that would be horrible. The story lines around those things happening would be boring as hell.

This change is purely a money grab from the people who come to games now. It's a bit about the future, put mainly about the now.

They're only meaningless if you don't care about going to watch a playoff game in your stadium. Is it a meaningless game for the teams that are locked in 3/4 spots now when the winner gets to host the semi? Of course not, because as a fan you want your team hosting the playoff game. There are plenty of actually meaningless games with the current format. This will provide at least some meaning. 1&2nd spots get locked up early all the time. Generally those teams will have healthy attendance because they're playing well. The end of year games between 6&7 or 8&9 is where the drop off really is. This playoff format at least gives hope that they can make a run at the cup.

I think a lot of teams know what guys will likely stick and which will be looking for work sooner than later before the NFL draft happens now. It will add another wrinkle but I don't think there will be that many surprises. Yeah people online are complaining teams won't have any reason to play starters late in the year, like that doesn't already happen. Or ignoring that the CFL is in desperate need of the next generation of star players. Giving backups playing time will hopefully pay dividends if/when they become starters.

Yes! 100% yes! Money is the reason. That's literally the bottom line. They 100% have to generate more of it. That's it. done. period. over. more money is why this is happening.

the gm vs coach thing started because goalie claimed based of a 1 minute clip that MOS is just there to be there. All I'm saying is that a 1 minute clip doesn't prove anything. Yes the GM is the main guy during the draft. But coaches also play a role. This isn't a 1 or the other situation.

The GM always controls things during the draft. That's how it goes in all professional leagues. That doesn't mean coaches have zero say.

Since 2000, 3 teams have won the grey cup with losing records. I'm not sure how many teams have hosted a Playoff game with worse records than their guests. We've all complained about how dumb that is. This new format gets rid of that problem. It also makes it much hard to the bottom seeds to reach the grey cup. Every team has to win at minimum 2 games to get to the grey cup. Some will have to play 3 road games to get to the GC. While it does effectively make the regular season a bit less relevant (if you ignore seeding importance) it makes the Grey Cup game much hard to get to which I like.
