It’s not a stupid point LOL anyone who posts here is obviously a big fan, but a big fan who can’t even support their team during training camp like what? You said you were interested in camp battles? Okay then go check them out tor yourself? Why is it a foreign concept to actually go support your team in person if you cared enough too instead of bitching and complaining about the media.

Yes assuming we wanted to do it bad enough, we could all make time to pursue that. But I suppose unlike you, some people have other priorities that trump certain activities. And gosh don't you know it'd be real nice if there was some kid of organization or individual etc etc that could head to those activities and either remember what they saw or take notes/videos etc and then share what they had with other people. I might even pay for that kind of time saving convenient (what should we call it...) "report".

I understand that selling convenient things to people is a foreign concept. But I imagine eventually it will catch on.

I know it’s frustrating but to those who are complaining, no one is stoping you from going down to training camp yourself, especially if it’s on a Saturday or Sunday, you can see all the position battles you want, and god forbid even bring that info back to MBB. I get it we live in a era where we want our information spoon fed to us and I get frustrated with the fact that it’s hard to get info but then I remember if I wanted to know bad enough I’d be there myself..

I'd like to introduce you to my wife and after that, my boss. Who you may think are one and the same. But I assure they are not.

Saying the guardian cap does nothing is not a fact. That's an opinion not based in fact.

I get that people don't like the looks of it, but that's a pretty immature reason not use it.

I think if you re-read what he posted you'll see that it does make sense. The cap helps, but it does nothing for sudden stops/impacts which make the head (and therefore brain) whip back and forth.

The fact we can’t keep most of the top 10 ish best players (or where ever the elite cut off is each year) and the fact barely Canadian guys shoot to the top of the draft even as fringe players in the ncaa tells you all you need to know about the talent level. I love that we have Canadians in the game, I wouldn’t want the game with out it. But it would be better in terms of on field quality.

Agreed. I haven't said otherwise. I love football for a lot of reasons. One being the strategy a team needs to use to play its best against any given opponent. The ratio is another aspect that each team has to account for in their strategy. Which is one of the reasons I love the ratio.

u have zero clue what u natter about at the best of times...let alone this...shhhh

rtio has been nshrinking for decades...if anything the game over all is better....no?....and if isnt...why u still watch?

I watch because I like the rules that make it unique. The ratio being one of them

the rules are what make it great...not who's under the helmet...and the best available players would make it even better....talent/competition wise....If they were all American....all Japanese...all Mexican....all white...blck...combo of all nations....and played in Canada....under the same rules...in same stadiums....wouldn't bother me one bit....If it was all Canadian tho...I'd watch...to a point....but would not pay the money I do now when attending for a sub par product....I could watch Junioor or Canadian University for that....for a fraction of the price...BTW...I was born in Canada and lived here till about 16....and moved back when I entered the work force...So i'm not some Anti-Canadian basher

Yeah, the ratio rule among others.

I can\'t see any player wearing one in game to be honest...it one thing with no contact these days in practice...game is totally different, and in scrums...big collisions etc....do they come flying off?...get re-arranged on a guys helmet and block his sight?...will they be litterd all over field much like a helmet now...and need to be put back on..delaying a game or having a guy have to come off?....

I could see some Olinemen doing it but other than that, doubtful

You dont get it....due to ratio to fill out the roster....many many inferior Canadians get role jobs as oppsoed to Americans...so if say an LB has a opp to compete for a job....but doesn't get it say due to another American they go with...he has no hope to make the roster on teams and try and earn a spot in practice.... the ST lb's filling out the roster will be inferior Canadians...who aren't good enough to be a Canadian starter...so guys won't come due to that...a lot of times as well they may be better than a projected Canadian Starter....but again.....won't get the job because there just isnt enough starter quality Canadians on some rosters to change your ratio...Guys careers are short as it is, and for a U.S guy to come up here, already behind the 8-ball due to ratio and risk catastrophic injury with really next to no chance to make it...they decline the offer....doubt me if you wish....but these are facts...and has happened a ton

Yup, just one of things that make our game great!

People who hold positions that aren’t based on fact or logic won’t give up those position due to arguments based on facts and logic
Any topic should be open for discussion, but facts should only be debated by qualified people.
In general debates swing people who are on the fence. How do you get people off wrong headed, disgusting, or extremist views? Figure that out and we are on the verge of world peace.

Theres a remarkable amount of data that proves that is incorrect. But I don't want to get this thread off the tracks any further than I already have. So I'll leave it at that. Feel free to message me if you'd like to continue.

I don't know if you're stirring the pot or if you really believe that - but the answer is simple

No, people are not entitled to push far fetched beliefs and opinions on others - there are limits to far how far freedom and speech and opinion can be taken - and it would be an absolute disaster if there weren't

If you need an example - Google James Keegstra

To be fair....Brandon didn't say they had a right to push their beliefs. Just that they had a right to have them.
