With Walker in, I want to see LaPo just once line up him, Demski, Adams and Whitehead, with Harris and Miller in for extra blocking, and tell them all to run a fly pattern and let Nichols just heave it deep to any one of them. My take, the Winnipeg media is just taking this out of proportion.
Obviously, they don't have anything "negative" or controversial to write against the Bombers nowadays. So they jump, on any thing like this to put it on their articles. 

And of course, some of us will take a bite.

When I was with Rogers in Toronto (cable & cell) I was constantly amazed at their poor customer service and their arrogant and unpleasant attitude. Until I called to quit: that was the most pleasant attitude ever conveyed by a Rogers rep in my 16~ years with them.

how can we win if Nichols throws for less than 300 yards???  That's just absurd.

My great fear is SportsNet will win the contract and they’ll expose cfl fans to the worst collection of play-by-play and colour announcers while placing them second fiddle to nba and leaf events.

Personally, I love watching the CFL on TSN. on any night. I just hope the ratings numbers aren’t sliding like the attendance. A new TV deal, with a small bump from global markets, and we're good. 
More teams have to take the initiative like Edmonton did to get the younger fans into the stadium. I know that’s how I got hooked.

I was of the opinion Nichols resisted the long ball because he feared being intercepted. I’ve noted Nichols protects the bejesus out of his passes, much preferring to throw it away than risk getting intercepted. I don’t know if there are stats on this, but I’d not be surprised to hear Nichols threw the fewest long balls than most cfl quarterbacks. 

like who? The only team in Winnipeg's universe right now is Edmonton, and we not only beat them, but the game was never really in doubt. I feel like you're one of those people who, even if we win the GC, you're gonna say "Yeah, but we didn't win it the right way..."

Perhaps a better way of expounding upon and bringing this into context would be considering some past posts made about Nichols in regards to his deep throw abilities.  For example, last year or some time in the past I was seeing posters continue a rumor that the Esks dropped Nichols off their roster in our hands because they did not like his deep ball abilities.  The problem is, no links or hard concrete evidence was ever posted to support this rumor which makes me have trouble buying it.
Problem is, it appeared that the rumor was continued, and hence some posters would conclude based on buying it that Nichols would always be bad at throwing deep balls.  So hence, while not actually using that specific word, one could infer that their notion is Nichols would be permanently bad at throwing them.

On Saturday morning I watched SportsNet Central hoping to see the Bomber highlights. They spent the entire hour on the kawhi defection. 

All I want is for the Bombers to come out & play hard against the Argos. Not be cocky or overconfident. Just hit the field & get the job done.

I appreciate your enthusiasm but I can’t get over this feeling like this could be a trap game. I’m sure O’Shea won’t let his guys be too over confident.
 

You can't even enjoy a win without complaining.  You & Burgess should start your own private website for just the both of you where you can feed your complaining off each other.

Nichols played his best game in well over 2 years and was on his way to a big game stats wise.... what I'd like to see is consistency though!   He's shown that he can do this over the years, but never consistently.  If he's under centre on Friday against Toronto, I can see him having similar success.   Hopefully the injury is nothing serious and he can build on this!
Streveler did kinda have happy feet, but we're still talking about a guy with less than 5 starts in his pro career and who hasn't been in a consistent basis.  Can't just look at this game and say 'see, he's not the saviour!'.  He needs more development time for sure!

It's interesting how this place has changed in the past couple of years.  We used to celebrate victories to the point it would almost and i said almost reflect what you might see at RF.com.  But without some of the over the top crap that goes on in that place.   I can't tell whats changed.  Maybe it's a new crop of posters who just can't enjoy the win but must find something negative to counter balance the positive. 
it reminds me of a boss I had when I was first starting out.  He would shake your hand and give you a compliment but slap you across the head with the other.  I asked him why one day after some liquid courage and he said he didn't want his people to get too comfortable or feel too safe.  At that time I knew that would never be my management style but he felt it was necessary.  
After a win I choose to dwell on the positive.  Even after a 50 - 0 win you could still find a negative or two but whats the benefit to that?  With all the **** going on in the world.  Sports is what makes us smile and feel good especially after our team wins.   I have no problem discussing something that was overwhelmingly bad or a poor decision but to pick on the minutiae of the win.  Thats just a waste.

I just want to see a win. I don't care how. I don't care if Matt Nichols doesn't even throw one pass as long as the Bombers come out of Ottawa with a win. Just f***ing win.

The New Occidental Hotel is in a hot spot for action and has some character! I guess it all depends what your taste is though. 😜 

I guess you and i approach life in different ways.. I approach people as they are telling the truth and are genuine until they show otherwise and genrally accepting.  You know the whole, grow the community by being inclusive?  You apparently assume the opposite which is kinda sad.
if this is someone trolling, then go on the attack when they reveal them self or have the whole thread deleted.   
It funny how the same approach is taken with other bomber fans that are "trolls" because they have different opinions from up north.
