  1. Couldn't agree more. It's tough to buy him as IC champion when he has lost so many matches recently but he's just so great in his promos. Maryse is fantastic as well.
  2. I love Ziggler in the ring. I still think the best match I've seen live over the last 3 WWE live events in Winnipeg was probably Ziggler vs The Miz. They work well together. And I've seen a lot of stars in that time who weren't nearly as entertaining. But I hate Ziggler on the mic. He's awful. I don't know if it's the sound of his voice or his attitude or what, but he makes an unlikeable face and a weak heel. And I bet that's what holds him back. Someone said he should be in the IC title picture. And I think he will be again. It's just not his time.
  3. Some guys are just career mid-card guys. Ziggler, The Miz, Ambrose, Ryback, Cody Rhodes... They have their moments in the WWE title picture but realistically they are mid card guys and always will be. And there is nothing wrong with that. Not everyone can be The Man.
  4. Definitely heard some talk that there are people out there who wouldn't take Matthews first overall but I'll be shocked, SHOCKED I say, if he isn't number one. And I know there is a shot at the top 3 but my heart tells me the Jets will pick 7th overall. Maybe we can get Chychrun or Tkachuk.
  5. I ******* love tacos
  6. Apparently Ric was on the mic at Smackdown tapings and told Natalya to kill herself. Seems a little harsh lol.
  7. I hope at least one of those top 6 OL slip down to 9/10.
  8. I don't get why people like American Alpha and the Revival so much. Both teams are boring and unlikeable. I don't see either one being on the main roster any time soon. I like Enzo and Cass. The Vaudevillains are a fine heel team and I expect they will be filling The Ascension role for awhile. NXT has actually been really weak lately. "No Way Jose"? Gimme a break.
  9. How do you determine which ones are poor?
  10. http://operations.nfl.com/updates/the-officials/nfl-and-cfl-announce-officiating-development-program/ Very interesting. I'm in favour of anything that gets refs more training and experience. NFL AND CFL ANNOUNCE OFFICIATING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM43 MINUTES AGO Beginning in 2016, the National Football League and the Canadian Football League have announced that they have formed the NFL-CFL Officiating Development Program. The program will send a group of NFL officials — primarily deep wing officials (side judges and field judges) — to work as part of CFL crews during preseason and regular-season games in June and July. The officials will return to the NFL before the 2016 season begins at the league’s annual officiating clinic in late July. CFL officials will join the NFL’s Officiating Development Program, which is designed to train top officials in all aspects of NFL officiating. The program includes attending NFL minicamps and training camps, officiating preseason games, studying position-specific film with veteran NFL officials, reviewing mechanics and analyzing rules differences between the NFL and other leagues, including the CFL and college football. Learn how NFL programs develop officials at every level. “Any time our newer officials can get more reps on the field, during practices or games, that will make them better officials,” said NFL Senior Vice President of Officiating Dean Blandino. “The collaboration with the CFL will certainly benefit us as we prepare for the 2016 season and we look forward to welcoming our CFL officiating counterparts to our development program later this spring.” “This historic partnership gives officials in both leagues an opportunity to hone their craft and get better through shared development activities and more snaps at the pro level,” said CFL Senior Vice-President of Football Glen Johnson. “We’re excited that a group of our officials will actively participate in the NFL Development Program and now have a formal path forward to be considered as prospects in their league.”
  11. Welcome back Eskimo fan. "Time for me to move on. I'll always have soft spot but since the Oilers are my hockey team now, I'm golng to make the Eskimos my football team. Most likely will take a year or two to get fully emotionally involved with the team, but at least it is a team I can get behind. " -KptKrunch, Oct 31 2015
  12. I could see them starting 3 Canadians also. Chambers, Demski, Bagg. Add Chiles and you only need one good rookie. Maybe Jeremy Kelley is the guy.
  13. Right. I meant to focus on the depth but I got carried away about the starters. I mean, you can say the depth isn't great but do other teams have 10 quality Canadian starters? Once you get down into that 7-10 range, every team is going to be questionable. Say we start Goossen, Neufeld, Chungh, Kohlert, Harris, Westerman, Shologan. Anyone goes down, we have Hurl, Bucknor, JFG, Keeping, and Thomas on the bench. All guys who have started games, in some cases dozens of games. Are they ever going to be allstars? No... but they can be pretty damn good backups to fill in for a few games. If Harris or Westerman go down, we don't have a direct backup for them so you have to shuffle the lineup a bit. But the other spots are covered. OL is a little thin but the draft should help with that.
  14. I think we're in the best position we've been in that regard for quite some time. In 2014 our 7th and 8th best Canadians were guys like Jake Thomas and Teague Sherman. I like those guys but they should be farther from the starting lineup than that. Now we've got Hurl, Bucknor, JFG, Keeping all outside our starting 7.... And still a couple high draft picks to come, along with Thomas and Sherman still being here. The starters are way better than they were, but the depth is coming along too. And it's not just a small improvement in the starters... Check out our top 5 Canadians now compared to who they may have been in 2014: Westerman, Harris, Shologan, Chungh, Kohlert Vs Watson, Greaves, Morley, Bucknor, Kohlert Gotta feel good about that!
  15. We have a couple DBs that were around last year in Kearney and Posey and multiple rookies to choose from... it will be one of them. I just don't think Harris has the speed to play safety and I don't think he's even being considered for that spot. And I don't think we use a Canadian either.
  16. Why would we play Macho Harris at safety? I don't think that's even a remote possibility to be honest. He's here as SAM depth. If we get through training camp healthy, Harris will be the 6th DB or cut.
  17. Small, sensible cuts like this do add up over time and have less of a negative effect than cutting whole departments or services. While I agree that this is small change, that's where the savings will be found for the most part. NDP solved problems by throwing wads of cash around indiscriminately. Prudent fiscal management can go a long way and it starts in the little details.
  18. That's nice that you were told how to vote and follow it blindly but that doesn't make it the "right way" to vote. The party is a huge part of the consideration. Your MLA has very little impact on the actual area you live in. If you want something done locally, you talk to your city councilor.
  19. Bokhari was a disaster! I am so disappointed in the Liberal party
  20. If it included the weed I would vote for them for sure.
  21. I've been bombarded in River Heights. Home visits and phone calls by the PCs and Liberals. I'm in an apartment building and they keep getting in and slipping stuff under my door, hanging placards on my doorknob, etc. They come knocking at my door, surely expecting a retiree like the majority of the people in my building, instead they get a fired up burly 28 year old ready to challenge them on their platforms. Very satisfying. I even got a flyer from the Green candidate, it said 100% recycled material but I still thought it was ironic that they would be handing out paper. PC Tracey Maconachie is working really hard to win it but the support for Jon Gerrard is just too strong I think.
  22. Wouldn't mind taking a look at Melvin Abankwah... Huge hype after last year's combine but of course he was one of the swath of draft eligible players to test positive for PEDs.
  23. Heath Slater BABAY!!!!
  24. Speaking of suspensions, Titus is supposed to be back. I wonder how he will be treated upon his return.
