  1. Agreed. It's pretty early hit the panic button for a 22 year old OL.
  2. The multi-quotes in this thread have gotten out of control.
  3. Thought this was pretty funny. A tuba player trolling a KKK March:
  4. Odds of success are probably less than 50% I would think. On TSN they said the 2 point conversion was running around I believe 77 percent. Teams are hesitant to go for two but I think once we start seeing more success with the two point conversion and 1 point converts missed. (hello Winnipeg) we'll start to see a shift in mind set when it comes to going for two. When more teams start doing it that % will probably go down. 77% doesn't seem like a sustainable rate.
  5. My 8 year old told me to calm down when I started yelling at Stoudemire for that last return. It was a funny way to put some perspective on the game. He's much better than he showed in that game and I expect way more from him against Edmonton.
  6. Agreed. After all those years in the east, Hamilton is right up there with the Riders in terms of teams I love to see lose. They reached that status for me after Glenn went there. Add the boat incident and they became very unlikeable.
  7. A new Canadian RT? Never heard of him, is he supposed to be any good?
  8. I really hope this isn't true come game time. Makes no sense at all. Veltung would presumably start at receiver and Stoudemire would take over return duties.
  9. He was outstanding in the playoffs, but otherwise I agree. He hasn't had a really good regular season in a few years now. Imo he's changed his style of play to protect his body and it's made his less effective. I suppose if he can always turn it back on in the playoffs it might be worth it, but that's a big if.
  10. As evidenced by his zero Stanley Cup rings.
  11. In a shocking development, Johnny Sears is hurt and headed to the 6 game IR. So much talent, but just can't stay healthy.
  12. It is in Germany. I'm not sure here. My guess is that it would fall under hate laws and be banned.
  13. So does anybody know if we actually did use our exemption on Neufeld? If we can take as many guys off the list as we want and choose which guy to exempt, does it make sense to do it for him when he was only on it for one game?
  14. Both Calgary starting tackles will be out for multiple weeks, Harrison probably for the season. SCC might be out for the season as well.
  15. LG is where I'd put him.
  16. That's where I was going with this if kbf didn't beat me to it.
  17. I like to drink during a round too...
  18. They ran switches with Green all night somebody did not pick him up it was on Washingtons side all three times I believe. He was yelling at Adams after one big play. Three Bombers staying with one Al while Green got in behind them all.
  19. I'm a big fan of Fraser. Nice to see him on the roster. I thought Gibson was getting decent pressure when he played, but he seems like a bit of a meathead. Always up in guys' faces and being pulled back by teammates. He reminds me of Odell Willis, but without the career success to date.
  20. It depends on the market. If he was a UFA this year he would have cleared 7 mil. Who would have signed him? You're not answering my questions. Who is going to give Ladd that kind of deal? The only guys to get that kind of money this year in free agency are young players, one ROR, is a massive over pay but he's young and the other is a near 40 goal scorer. FA was way down this year and it's because the cap didn't move much. People signed some stupid deals in years past expecting the cap to keep rising at a fast rate and that didn't happen and it caught a lot of teams without a lot of wiggle room. That's part of it. The other part is that there weren't any top notch players available. It's much easier for teams to hold the line on FA paydays when there's nobody worth a bidding war available. I don't think Ladd would have gotten $7M per in FA though. I'd give him 6ish and 6 years. The term doesn't scare me. He's been very durable throughout his career and doesn't strike me as a guy who would coast once he's been paid.
  21. After researching sarcasm, I would suggest you then research not taking yourself so seriously.
  22. Exactly. Stop being ******* and cheer for your team.
  23. New people can be good. It's aggressive stupidity that brings a forum down, and it's starting to rear its ugly head around here.
