Interesting that you don't mention what the economy has been going through with the current Fed. Gov. LOL - I've been getting this from every NDP person I know. "we'll suck for sure, but the Conservatives suck too so at least you will be used to a government that sucks if we are elected". Yeah, that's great logic. No love for Bullwinkles aka the oak? It was safari or rum jungle when I was young. Buffalo Bills was where it was at. Buffalo Bills had a much less stabby vibe to it than The Oak. I never felt very safe in there. Buffalo Bills & Silverados were our bars of choice in our early 20s...once I was too old for Pembina Hwy.

Go a little deeper into T'cona to find the real gems. The Central, The Spike, still around too. It's like going into a time machine. The Spike is a beauty, love it there. Spent a fair amount of time at the Villa in North Kildonan in my university days too. The Spike is the bar that time forgot.

The big appeal of Pembina bars was how cheap they were. I was always there for $.25 draft nights. It was perfect for university students. Fixed prices put an end to that.

I think Veltung would be more valuable to us than Littlejohn.

Easy for you to say but how do you justify that when you are the Blackhawks and this controversy is still raging while you happily line him up on your first line on opening day? There's going to be a lot of pissed off people if they do that. It is easy for me to say that. I can justify it b/c the police don't have sufficient evidence yet. Once they have it and they've charged him he can sit. At that point there's actually something tangible to show that he may have done something wrong.

I wouldn't suspend him until he's charged.

Who's been praying for him to fail?
