Marcel Bellefeuille - When does he get axed
sweep the leg replied to Brandon's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
25 or more points in 4 of 6 games that Willy played prior to the game he got hurt. My point? Not that MB is any good, but that he's been working with terrible qbs since his Willy went limp (penis). -
Marcel Bellefeuille - When does he get axed

We got 30 in week 1 this season. -
That "Rebel Blogger" post seems a little out there. You're really stretching credibility trying to tie the problems with refugees in Europe to what could happen here. A quick glance at a map explains why Europe is having a problem with these refugees. Geography has stopped a rush of refugees at our border, not Harper's "measured reaction".

A player said he could go? Case closed. They never lie about their health.

Haha called it. Actually not that small of a line, though. Perreault isn't big but Burmi's physical game is underrated and Ehlers is actually pretty strong on his skates as well. Tons of offensive potential with a line like that. Like a slightly larger version of the triplets in TB.

Do you believe a coalition of NDP/Liberals could be an effective government? I don't know, to be honest. I don't have a problem with coalitions in theory, for basically the reasons Fraser gave. It would be much easier to sell to Canadians this time around b/c a separatist party wouldn't be involved. It would be tough to do though, just b/c whichever guy agrees to let the other guy lead would take a big hit in his career. When the next election rolls around you'll be known as the guy who deferred to another leader. As far as policy goes, I worry about spending increasing. Each side would be threatening to break up the coalition if they don't have all of their priorities met.

I think it's a good possibility we end up with a Conservative minority, which will give us countless ominous threats from them about how the Liberals and NDP are plotting against Harper to form a coalition and destroy our country. This is clearly the worst thing ever, even though our form of government allows for it.

You're so in the bag for the Conservative's you've even taken up their election strategies.

What he really meant - "I am confident that once all the facts are hidden from public view, I will be absolved of having done nothing wrong." "absolved of having done nothing wrong" means he did something wrong. It's like a double negative. He should have said "absolved of wrongdoing". That's what Madani was pointing out.

This post made me laugh. I had forgotten the angst Pall and his dog caused this forum last season. Good times...

I read a great line about this: "Most American Sentence Ever - Texas Police Arrest Muslim for Science"

What a clown show that debate was. You keep waiting for somebody to say they're just kidding, at which point the real candidates will walk out and have an adult conversation about actual important topics. CNN played into the joke by doing everything they could to make them fight. It wasn't "explain your position" type of questions, but moreso "Trump said this about you, please respond to him".

Lawless: Chill Out, Let Miller & Co Do Their Jobs
sweep the leg replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Dave Richie went 13-22-1 in his first two seasons with the Bombers. 14-4 in year three. -
Your depth doesn't have to be rookies though. Halischuk and Fraser are two examples of veteran guys who might get pushed to the AHL by rookies.

Lawless seems to like these guys personally, which I'm sure is playing into him preaching patience. -
That's a pretty low bar. New country music is terrible. That's not just my opinion, it's a scientific fact.

I think that comment suggests Bob is talking out of his ass and has no idea what our backup situation will look like next season. -
Very interesting. Did the opposition really expect a deficit this year even with the government repeatedly saying they were on track for a surplus? Because it seems the Liberals especially cornered themselves on the economy by hammering Harper and essentially saying "well since we're in deficit, *we* are going to manage that deficit properly and invest in infrastructure" and now that the surplus was announced, it makes the government seem like the "good economy" government and the opposition like reckless spenders. I think the lies over the dead refugee child are playing into this too. Im somewhat perplexed at the Liberals rising so much. is that left-ist voters swinging back and forth between Libs and NDP? Might the ABC crowd all "choose" a party to park their vote? And will one of the opposition play on that by saying "look, the only way to stop Harper is for those of you voting for the Liberals to vote for us NDP'ers instead" (or vice versa)? Disagree. I don't think most people care about this nearly as much as you do. I think it's more likely most Canadians have either forgotten about it or don't even know who Fin Donnelly he is. The bigger issue, imo, is that a lot of Canadians agree with Harper's stance that he doesn't want to just open the borders and let refugees flood in. People have been conditioned to be scared of people from that part of the world, so they don't want them in our country.

In a shocking first for this forum, a joke has been taken too far.
