Oh, he will be. I'm just saying in 20 years if his foundation is still around , it will have helped a lot of cancer patients. My brother in Winnipeg has pancreatic cancer so I'm curious as to what the foundation does & will be checking it out online.

I can see that, although in 20 years most of us will be forgotten ;)

I think he may be remembered more for his Never Alone Foundation that helped cancer patients, families & caregivers than his time as a Bomber player or President. Rest in Peace, Lyle Bauer. He'll be missed.

To be honest, he was a three time Grey Cup Champ as a player and the Bombers were in 3 Grey Cups during his time in management (although they unfortunately didn't win any of those). I think he rightfully could be remembered for his football career and the foundation he started.

  3. In hindsight, maybe signing Helle and 55 to long terms and not blowing it up a bit allowing youngsters more opportunities to change the make up of this squad while giving LB a place to start wasn’t the best moves. Chevy is ultimately responsible for results because he hires the coach and brings in the players, I guess time will tell. All I can say is that the  definition of insanity is really strong on this team right now 😟

Excerpt taken from an article from Kerry Collins Hockey Writers:

Thud: Connor Hellebuyck Stinks Right Now

Connor Hellebuyck may take home his second Vezina Trophy this season, but it’s a good thing votes are cast before the puck drops on the postseason. Hellebuyck has been brutal in this series, posting a dismal .870 save percentage and 5.22 goals-against average through the first four games. It finally got him benched in Game 4, as Laurent Brossoit took over in the third period of Colorado’s 5-1 victory.

Not sure if that's how Bowness and crew would write that up.

    Not wrong though  …

  5. The problem with the Jets situation is how do you fire the coach and GM of a team that finished with the second amount of points in the West during the NHL regular season? No way the Jets make those moves. It's a different game come playoff time. Unfortuantely since we can't use the Mark S was not available during the series excuse this time, we are left to think that this team is the classic regular season good/ playoffs bad kind of club ...
