This sums up how they view the FB position.
"The retirement of Miller – he’s now the special-teams coordinator – and the release of Damian Jackson last month also means the team does not have a fullback on their roster. That said, it’s not necessarily an urgent area of need. The Blue Bombers often use a sixth offensive lineman in short-yardage situations and could also feature a bigger-bodied receiver in fullback-type sets, too, if need be.
“I would believe that as a group – Buck and his group but also JY (Jordan Younger, defensive coordinator) and the defensive staff – they’re always able to fit the pieces together. Do you ‘need’ a fullback? I don’t know. Would you like one? Sure,” said O’Shea.
“We all have our philosophies on that,” added Walters. “If you dress a seventh O-lineman, is he athletic enough to handle that? Sure. Can a bigger receiver do that? Maybe. You don’t need to reach for a fullback that’s going to play eight snaps a game.
“But we obviously don’t have one on our roster and Marty and Buck would sure like to have one. We won’t just grab one at No. 8 (Winnipeg’s pick in the first round) because we don’t have one on the roster. It’s certainly a position group we’ll watch and there are some interesting guys here, two or three fullbacks here and a couple bigger tailbacks we’ve identified.”

I would bet big money on us picking guys that would best help our club on every pick we've made over the past couple years. Unfortunately, the last 2 drafts did not have much depth at all because of the covid deferring.
I really believe this is the case, and not Walters suddenly forgetting how to gauge talent...

Why? Bond when done right is a fun movie.
I hope the rumours are true that they want to do the next series of Bond movies set in the 60's.
with Nolan directing.... let's ******* go!! Bond movies are almost always great (to varying levels)... the Craig movies are all at least GOOD, if not incredible. I am always down for a Bond movie every 5 years or so...

I was gonna say Kick-Ass
I've never seen this kid in anything other than the MCU projects where he played Pietro... had no idea he'd even done anything else.

I thought Bowness only signed a 2 year deal, with the idea that he'd be transitioning to Arniel after this year....

Pietro as Bond?? Bet you didn't see that coming.......

I'll tell ya... I was at a concert in Commonwealth last summer that was a sellout... so 60k+ in the seats, plus the field was full with "floor" seating. It was bonkers in there... it's quite the atmosphere when they DO fill it....

Bombers sign Larnel Coleman. He's an American offensive tackle who was drafted in the 7th round of the 2021 NFL draft. He played 1 game in the NFL and played college at UMass.

Saw the news and was trading messages with them last night...... just ruined my week. Winnipeg doesn't have THAT MANY breweries that you should be seeing a "bubble burst" right now... this is really sad. It was absolutely THE place to be before a Bombers game. Onkel's on the patio at SA on a warm Manitoba summer afternoon pre-Bombers game? Just nothing finer... there are some on here who have made outrageous claims about SA and their production methods (and quality of output) but I've never had a beer there that I didn't enjoy. Paul's sometimes "crusty" exterior was a big part of the charm of the vibe as well... support your locals folks.... you don't know what you've got until it's gone.

most of the shows the wife and I watch are in production or "off season" right now.... but we do watch most of the Law and Order stuff and Mark Critch (This Hour Has 22 Minutes, etc) "Son Of A Critch" is actually really well done. Enjoy that one each week, as well.
