I can see O’Shea going back home, can also see ZC wanting to back out east, but Brady I don’t see it
I have this feeling that he and his agents see him as a major star pro athlete and would like to see him in a bigger spotlight... A major market. They want to try and market him like Connor McDavid, Austin Mathews, Kawhi Leonard, etc....

I could 100% see Osh going home and taking both Zach and Brady with him... Tho Zach is under contract so it'd have to be some kinda trade.
-
Pinball will give Osh a blank cheque... Curious to see if he takes it.
-
Whew..... Ottawa hires Dinwiddie as HC and GM. Wow... Osh to Toronto??
Crazy times.....

O'Shea's use of Eli is one of the biggest issues, IMO. Kolankowski has been the weak link in the O-line and I have a very difficult time seeing Eli as as bad as or worse. Versatility be damned, Kolankowski is not and has not been good enough and likely contributed to Collaros's inkjuries but O'Shea has been oblivious to all that. From O'Shea's comments, he expects to return as head coach so we are likely looking at an even worse year in 2026. This reminds me of how a Russian farmer described his crop prospects for the current year:" Worse than last year but better than next."
Why is O'Shea this boogeyman controlling the OL and not the OL coach?

Interesting article in the WFP with Brady. I wonder if he's planning to stay or leave.
This, via ChrisD.ca, was something...
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers star running back is a pending free agent and told media in Tuesday’s end-of-season press conference that the team’s future roster and money will factor into where he plays next year.
”Playing for my hometown, it's been incredible,” said Oliveira, who was drafted by Winnipeg in 2019. “I have nothing but good things to say about my time here.
“And would I love to be back? Absolutely, but I think I owe it to myself to sit down with my agent and OTG Sports and to talk to my family and kind of see what the best scenario and situation is for me.”

Doesn't the league say "no major news during GC week so as not to distract from the game"...? 99% sure that's a thing.
There will be rumours for sure, that leak from the talking heads, but nothing official will go out until after GC I'd bet (with the slim chance of something before).
Fwiw, reading Hodges encapsulation of the Osh presser, he (Osh) seems to be fairly confident he's going to sign an extension. Never say never, but I have the feeling everybody's back next year, or maybe Osh is taking on HC/GM on the outside chance Walters is leaving. But if I was betting money... I'd say The Trinity survives and lives to see another rebuild.

I love Dru Brown but his injuries are piling up, and I wouldn't be selling the farm for him at this point...

Just like the Bombers... Winnable game. Stepped on their own dicks too many times.

Good riddance to Calgary sports teams. Good on Coach Buck. Now get rid of the Gappers....

I'm already kind of looking forward to the Grey Cup Week "rumours" that I'm sure will be swirling about who's going where next year.
It's only been a short time since th end of the game but I'm coming back around to "Grey Cup Week will be fun no matter what and I'm really looking forward to the parties..."
*Reserve the right to change my mind if Sask is there and we have to listen to fellating of the Gappers all week long...

Was hoping Vaval had one of those returns in him today.
He was solid but I was sure hoping for exceptional today. All things considered he's still way down my list of problems and something in really looking forward to next year.

BC is the best team in the CFL. The Stamps need to stay close and hope for a fourth quarter break.
They needed the field goal at the end of the half, but they are still in the game.
Nah... Montreal with Alexander is the best team for sure. But, I've been calling BC vs Als GC for about a month now ..

They're playing indoors right? Why is Masoli wearing the balaclava?

McManus would be all time dysfunctional organization. Think of what the job of GM is. He’s not even good at the personnel part.
Thank you.

Let's go Coach Buck!!

Gm, I’d see if danny wants it.
JBR has said over and over again that Danny Mac is the reason our US recruiting has been **** and that he should have been fired already.
And we want to make him GM?

Really shitty finish. Gonna take me awhile to get over this. Also, it will be a herculean performance to not die of alcohol poisoning during GC. Our only hope is Coach Buck getting through and keeping the Gappers out. It's "something" at least....

I’m sadly at a point of believing the CFL is on a descent to irrelevance steeper than any time in the history of the league. And I have no faith in really any of the leadership including Wade Miller to get the nose of the plane back up.
There’s 2 of 9 markets that are stable and able to pay their bills from operations. The core fan base is in decline and there’s really no broad strategy to change that other than bastardizing the sport and moving it more and more to being a spring league. All things that kill the brand rather than build it.
Really needed your special brand of positivity on a day like today ... When did you give TBurg access to your account?

Love everything Khari did while here but has he ever won anything ever at any point in his playing and coaching career?
I'm not convinced he's a CFL coach... Tho admittedly he'd have been an upgrade over Hogan (from as little as I can tell from the stands)...
