The biggest thing with Romby is that he and Willy just don't have any chemistry at all. Seems when they try and stretch the field deep with him the ball is never close because they just don't know how to play with each other. I think this team needs more weapons on offense bottom line. We have a lot of guys who can make a catch at receiver but we don't have a lot of guys who can put the fear of god into a defense and I think we need a game breaker like that. Especially when we go in without Moore our receivers are not a scary group.

People got their ideas thrown out of whack by the good start to the season. They forgot that we still had average at best coordinators on this team and paper thin depth in several areas.

Calgary and Sask sure seem like they stick with the run for four quarters... watch BC combo Logan, Harris and Brown against us next week - another test of Etch's 'flexibility' BC doesn't have a quality o-line so they can't run it as consistently. PLus last time we played them the Bombers shut down Harris just fine.

at least I can accept when the Bombers don't play well enough to win and don't need to make excuses by blaming the refs. The Riders have as much to complain about as us, they just got the big plays when they needed them.

That's the entire philosophy though! you might get yards but you won't get points from running the ball. If the special teams hadn't made the mistakes for 2 touchdowns we'd be talking about it working.

The refs are **** 17. I don't blame them for the loss today. it doesn't make them any less ****. If you think the refs in the CFL are competent, then you're not as smart as you think you are. and where did I say that? All I said was blaming the refs for a loss is what people who don't know football do. The refs are ****, but they're **** for everyone. Winning teams still make more plays than their opponents and the Bombers didn't do that today.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Riders are one of the worst matchups for the Bombers. Their strengths are their lines and running game, the bombers weakest parts are their run defense and their offensive line. Just a bad matchup and they managed to be close (yeah close only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades and monkey **** fights) so it is way too soon to jump of the bandwagon.

The got the ball back for the offense twice in the dying minutes. Offense got greedy on the first try at the end, never should have made that play but I'll forgive a young qb for that. 2nd chance they had too far to go and not enough time, but when we needed them the D made some plays. Yeah they gave up some rushing yards but it really didn't hurt them on the scoreboard. The special teams did far more damage handing free points to the Riders.

what positive attribute does he bring to this team? I can't think of a single thing.

but only one TD drive given up. D and O weren't the reasons this game was a loss, it's all on the special teams gaffes and the penalties.

after listening to the Kuale post game interview, cut him now. Takes no responsibility for his bone headed plays. He is a detriment to the team.

We scored more on offense than they did.... but they got 2 big plays for touchdowns on special teams... that was the difference in the game otherwise the Bombers were the superior team.

**** that attitude. Take care of your own business and you can make the playoffs without needing help from anyone.

with their #2 on the IR for the rest of the year they don't have a lot of choices. They might give Elliott some time eventually but it'll be at the end of the year if anything.

playing mostly against the east it's the perfect situation for him. Avoid the ugly games, beat up on the weak teams. Everyone is focussed on the west but it's going to be interesting to see how things shake out in the east too.

Durant has said in the past that he has trouble with the crowd noise in Winnipeg. Anything he says before this one is probably just trying to convince himself he can handle it, so far though he seems to struggle playing in Winnipeg.

Chevon Walker is one of the softest running backs I have ever seen in the CFL. Quick and shifty? Yep, but soft as butter between the tackles. He is the worst offender for the "either makes a huge play for a touchdown or gets completely shut down" category. I can not believe the redblacks have stuck with him all year. It's the easiest position to recruit for how in gods name did they not find a better option?

Honestly I don't notice any difference between XL of the different types. I bought one of the latest round of royal blues and the XL seems the same as the rest going back to the Puma jerseys from the early 2000s.
