All 3 games were important for me. For different reasons as all the games told a different story. The Semi Final: Going into a Bomber wasteland called McMahon Stadium & beating the highly favoured Stamps in a playoff game there for the first time since 1965. First skeleton kicked out of the closet.
Defeating the Riders in their House in the Western Final to avenge the 1972 Western Final loss to that team & have the ball hit the crossbar  in the end zone on the last play of the game was as flukey as the Riders winning  in 1972 at Winnipeg Stadium with their last play wide FG attempt being kicked in & out of the end zone 3 times, only for the Bombers to be called for No Yards allowing Riders kicker jack Abendschan a second chance 15 yards closer to make the kick, for us to lose &leaving me to agonize over that game for 47 years. Second skeleton chucked out of the closet.
Then to dominate the Ti Cats the way we did unexpectedly so we could finally feel the joy of winning Lord Earl Grey's Cup for the first time in 29 years. Third & final skeleton tossed out. The Curse was finally expunged. All 3 hold as much importance for me. It was a magical run...

I finally got a chance to see the movie and now scrolling through this thread. I won’t make any comments, but just something that went through my mind at the end. I was a kid when A New Hope came out, so I was part of the generation that grew up with it from the start. Back then I remember Lucas talking about how he had nine movies planned. Then, after ROTJ when Lucas said he was done with it, I always thought “OK, we got three movies out of it”, and didn’t think there would be anymore. 

Then in the late 90's he announced the prequel trilogy, and after those it seemed like that was it. And now we finally got nine movies. The whole series has its ups and downs, good and bad, would have been nice if it had been planned from start to finish to make it more coherent. But I sat there during the closing credits and thought “wow – I never thought I would actually see nine Star Wars movies". It took 42 years to get there. Regardless of the quality of the whole series, I’m so glad that I got to see the end one way or the other.

I miss the old AWA shows at the Arena & the TV tapings here on Global. They'd tape a month's worth in one day. Then have another house show a month later at the Arena & do it all over again. They used to draw 12-13,000 for a lot of those shows at the Arena. Ah, the 80's.  Bockwinkel vs Flair Jan 16, 1986 at the Winnipeg Arena.
