I like Armia. I like him even more now that we have another Finn on the team. Like a lot of these young players he just needed some confidence, after it was destroyed by those bozos in Buffalo. I really liked that Petan/Copp/Armia line. I know I sound like a broken record, but give Armia some players to play with and he'll be good.

I liked Copp's game near the end of the season when he actually had some speed and skill to work with (Armia and Petan) rather than two pluggers who were slower than molasses... if I was Copp I'd be sitting beside Scheifele this summer busting my butt at Gary Roberts' camp and coming to camp bigger and stronger, just like Scheif did. If it means drinking gallons of beet juice, so be it.

if he's serious about the NHL he should make the jump to the Knights. He can do night courses at Western. The OHL is a huge opportunity for him, he should take it.

I think Lowry would benefit from attending the same Gary Roberts' camp that Scheifele went to last year. What really impressed me was the fact that they do a blood test/DNA review and determine what food best metabolizes for the individual player. So now Scheifele drinks a liter of beet juice before each game, rather than downing pasta or burgers. If I was in the NHL and looking for that extra jump before camp, and in Lowry/Copp/Dano/Ehlers/Armia's shoes I would go to that Gary Roberts camp. There is no better investment then an investment in yourself (TM).

I think, after all of the negativity from Bomber fans (and I've been a part of it too, and I think it's rightly deserved), we need Drew Willy to make a speech like this, just to show that he's a leader, and that the team actually gives a **** at how disheartened we all are right now: It doesn't surprise me that the idiots in Vancouver were telling Phil Esposito that communism is better.
