  1. Ok I'll bite. What has Steen done?
  2. Nick Moore injured while celebrating a TD. Just ridiculous.
  3. Actually its quite clear to me who the idiots are in this discussion, and they really do have nothing to say when it comes to Bobby Hull the hockey player. Sorry but I am so sick of this PC crap.
  4. Oh barf. You defeat your point by assuming I care. Like I said, honor the player, and let the idiots debate the person.
  5. I prefer they honor Hull the hockey player for all of us old timers and let the PC morons and milenienials cry and whine about his personal issues from 30 years ago.
  6. From who and why? First Jets goal I ever saw live was Bobby scoring his 999th career professional goal on a slap shot against the Cincinnati Stingers in 1978. Been a huge Jets fan ever since.
  7. Or you are the world's tallest midget
  8. I spent half the night wondering why Adarius Bowman couldn't catch a cold when he was in Winnipeg, now he catches everything thrown within a 10 yard radius of his body. I also sat there waiting for Corey Watson to pull a hamstring or a quad muscle or something, as he would do pretty much every game when he played here. Didn't happen. I also spent all night waiting for Sorenson and Greaves to just get turnstyled and allow our D through massive gaping holes like they did when they were here, and it never happened. I also am pretty sure I saw Cauchy Muamba out there (I thought he had been cut?) and making a tackle or two on special teams. I never saw him tackle anything when he played here. How is it that these players, who were marginal at best here in Winnipeg are contributing and starting (and WINNING) in Edmonton? Can someone answer this for me??? I feel like Mugato right now, that I am on crazy pills. EDIT - and why did O'Dell Willis not get at least five off-side penalties tonight? Wasn't that his average when he was in Winnipeg?
  9. I am not pining for Glenn. I think Orridge should mandate a trade between Calgary and Winnipeg where Calgary gives Winnipeg Tate, purely because it's just not fair that we have to go through yet another year of pure suckage at QB.
  10. and a recently unemployed tenor is going to sing the anthem
  11. They will have to hold the Grey Cup in Toronto every year just to keep the Argos alive. Or just alternate between Toronto and Vancouver. If the Lions make it again in again to the Grey Cup when the game is in Vancouver it will be fun to see all of the fake fans show up like they did in 2011. What a joke.
  12. Good job Chevy. Expecting big things out of both of these guys this year, in the bottom six. Both are key guys on the third and fourth lines. Armia adds a lot of skill, hope he can play with Copp again this year, as Copp really seemed to pick up his game with Armia on his wing instead of Thorbs.
  13. yeah that game was one of those heart-rippers.
  14. I hear it and I really want some of whatever you are smoking.
  15. The CFL is trying to market itself (finally) to fans under the age of 75. I've been watching these SNAP videos (not sure why, couldn't be because of Brodie, nahh) and really liking the effort being made to entice younger fans to the game. Comparing the CFL and the NFL is a joke. It's like comparing a lawn-mower to an M1-Abrams tank. But to me, that's what makes the CFL so great. They do so much, and provide so much entertainment, with so little. That's what makes the CFL just plain awesome.
  16. Look up Bluto while you are there. He'll make sure you guys have a great time.
  17. October 29th - Bud Grant to be inducted. And he's going to come out on the field in a speedo.
  18. I guess that will have to do for an apology...
  19. and if he won't take it, off to Edmonton with Stafford and Burmi for Pool Party and a pick
