  1. Ok, I seriously had no idea he was that stupid. He actually sounds completely sincere.
  2. https://nationalpost.com/opinion/rex-murphy-trudeaus-monumentally-misguided-emergency-measures-are-an-insult-to-canadians?s=08
  3. My paramedic friend tells me the KN95 is not as good as just a regular medical mask. The N95 is, but not the KN95. This, to me, is why they are lifting restrictions. Those who don't have their shots are not going to get them.
  4. Thanks for sharing. Same thing in our house. How people can be anything other than thankful for vaccines, is beyond me.
  5. I have a moral problem with the Olympics being on, while most us are still living with various degrees of restrictions
  6. Three days worth of trade over the Windsor Bridge. Just imagine, the amount of trade they held up was enough to pay for all Covid costs, twice over.
  7. I thought I was going to follow the NHL agaim. BS like this has turned me off.
  8. Just another DB who hits hard on pretty much every play All in a day's work, for this team.
  9. It reminds of an old Air Farce headline: Political Hinterland 'who's who?'
  10. Run or throw to the flats, throw to the flats or run About every 3rd game, roll out and throw deep to the guy who's been running long posts on every play, since the start of the season
  11. Looks like this guy had a wee bit of sauce...
  12. There were numerous members of this board who were not impressed with the Harris and Lawler situations. But, we were mostly happy with how the team handled it.
  13. LMAO that they arrested them due to public intoxication. I guess there's no drinking in any of the convoys...
  14. He won't be understanding at all. This is what's really at the heart of these protests. They are not about vaccines, that's just a smoke screen. These guys are afraid of their own priveleges being eroded, due to some of the groups you mentioned asserting themselves. Why else are the police playing nice?
  15. I'm not sure if I can continue to vote, at this time - in anything other than municipal elections. If it's Trudeau vs. Polliviere, there's no way I can vote for either of them.
  16. I just know that is has helped me personally, when it comes to combatting misinformation. You can't let it consume your entire being - that is all I meant with what I posted.
  17. Not quite. They removed all restrictions 2 weeks ago - Feb. 1 They had 75 people in ICU at the end of January - they currently have 30 people in ICU. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/covid-restrictions-denmark/
  18. It's not my assertion: it was stated by medical professionals in the article You would need the ability to enforce it for over 50% of the population That ability does not exist
  19. I looks like to today is the beginning of the end... ...now they can all go home and pretend the provinces changed their mandates because of them.
  20. I know there are plenty of very good, down to earth people in rural Alberta How much real estate you allow the lunatics to occupy in your brain - is under your control.
  21. So, here's a very good article from CBC. They are removing vaccines mandates because there are not enough people who are boosted - two doses are less than 15% effective at preventing transmission The mandates served their purpose - 3 million more Canadians got vaccinated. But Omicron will continue moving through the population, regardless of that. https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/canada-vaccine-mandate-passport-covid-19-omicron-boosters-1.6349038?fbclid=IwAR0IpWKlR11cxi6u97VqnNWEet4WVfJ7oD0nWLyC7h-YvUrWVxOpNS5RsxE
  22. Oh - my convoy supporter relatives are busy trying diminish Pat King's role in all this. He's 'just a guy on the streets' who's 'making some comments.'
  23. Quite frankly, I can't argue otherwise.
  24. She clearly says it's time to move on and look at different scenarios - for governments to plan on moving nearer to normalcy - back to what they were before the pandemic I mentioned Dr. Tam because she has played the lead role for Canada, ever since the pandemic began
  25. "We need to plan for the different scenarios and just be ready for a time of emergence of new variants. But we've got to move on and see how we can make our societal functions closer to what they were before the pandemic." "Tam said the possibility of new, more severe variants still poses a risk to future planning, but that it is time for governments and public health experts to "lay out a strategy and a plan towards moving back to something that is nearer normalcy." https://www.cp24.com/news/omicron-may-be-peaking-but-covid-19-isn-t-done-with-us-yet-tam-1.5749861
