I'm in.

I echo this sentiment .. we have our guy in Muamba .. now we most decidedly need to bring someone in to push the backup talent at that spot .. I have a lot of respect for what Labbe has given to this team .. and for a long time his contributition was underrated .. but the drop off from Muamba to Labbe in terms of athleticism and playmaking ability is a liability.

Just an FYI, turfed the redundant Lock of the Week thread.

Going well so far. Couple of stragglers but that's bound to happen when drafting like this.

May as well put it here .. Looks like Marcellus Bowman ended up on the 9 game IR ..

To me .. it's a needless and unncessary rub .. why play stupid little games like this with your fanbase ..

Nighthawk .. Sandman .. you're on the clock!

If we're .500 by Labour Day we're in decent shape .. 8-10 .. perhaps 7-11 makes the playoffs in this league.

Yeah .. my wife and daughter went to the concert last night and pretty much said the same thing .. going it was super easy .. coming out (partly because of their carpool) took quite a bit longer .. but not any worse than leaving CanadInns after a game. Easier to focus on the negativity though .. it sells.

Perspective .. love it.

New traffic plan to be unveiled soon: http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/local/Bombers-212467291.html Press Conference @ 2pm today.

While I don't disagree that our record proved us to be the worst team in the league last season .. I will offer one caveat .. we were decimated by injuries coming out of the gate and that played a large part in why our record was as bad as it was early last year. That said, I do agree that on the surface it doesn't seem that we've found people to really push the imports we have on our roster .. if nothing else, the young guys who showed promise last year (Washington for example) will have another year of experience and SHOULD be more sound. While I am disappointed by the loss last night .. I try to keep things in perspective .. it *IS* just a preseason game .. and by and large, completely meaningless .. though it would have been nice to see the team learning to win together before June 27.

Sounds like he and Garrett are having some issues .. but that starts with the snap from center .. coming to Goltz high.

I think, with a positive showing tonight, Kennedy makes the roster as a returner.

#hacktheplanet? ;-)

Yeah .. when you consider that both our starting tackles were injured and we were down to our fourth string running back when camp closed .. it's no wonder we were terrible out of the gate.

Guys. Let's chill a bit .. some people just happen to have had a problem connecting to the site with a specific setup (I had no issues myself) .. it's not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things and Rich found a workaround quickly. It's all good.
