And I shudder to think who we might tag as the heir apparent to O'Shea. There's a dearth of quality coaches in the CFL .. for all our pissing and moaning, we have it pretty good (with that said, everyone has an expiry date).

Pretty impressive season from a fan standpoint and I *think* it's the first full season sellout since we've been at Princess Auto.

Given the sheer number of injuries at the QB position in the NFL this season if he had *any* shot at a roster (PR or otherwise) it likely would have already come. I'll never begrudge *any* athlete who chooses to chase a dream or maximize their earning potential but (selfishly), hope he and his team read the writing on the wall sooner than later.

It’s all about processing and anticipation. Strev needs to see the play unfold (part of that stems from a lack of reps in an ACTUAL offense and not one that treats him as a gimmick) whereas Zach sees the entire field better and throws with anticipation.

Think this is the first game Strev played without his knee brace. He looked much more comfortable running today.

Ottawa vs Montreal would make much more sense just based on proximity - it's 2 1/2 hours away. It also doesn't 'dilute' the Argos / TiCats rivalry. Regardless, those things have to happen organically and can't be forced but making it a traditional labour day / labour day weekend matchup would be a good start.

He’s a guy who only posts when he has something to **** on. I have a lot more respect for folks who contribute to the board in the good times and bad. I don’t get people who choose to expend their energy just focusing on the negative.

Sure .. more passes were called .. 6 pass attempts though either because protection collapsed, receivers not being open or our QB getting happy feet. Whatever. The point is: no QB is going to be successful in this offense. Hogan isn’t good by any measure.

Sometimes teams just need to win ugly so they can learn to win consistently. We are a vastly different team in terms of leadership and presence and these guys are growing with the ugliness. A lot of these guys haven’t “been there” before and have to learn how to play through adversity. I’m not happy that Walters and O’Shea let this season happen (especially in a Grey Cup year) but it is what it is at this point.
