I agree. I think a lot of the issue with Lucky, was Lapo trying to use him out of the backfield on screens and little dumps. Teams keyed in on that after the first Edmonton game last year, not to mention we used our RBs in a similar manner in the passing game. D’s could just rush 3 or 4, sit back and come down on that short stuff.

I’ve heard/read about the game in 1981, when The Als came here, after signing everyone and their Dutch Cousin in the offseason. 58-2 I think? I have those kind of vibes about tonight.

Hey all, new here. Well, sort of. I’m a long, long time reader/lurker. Dyed in the wool Bomber Fan. I started watching as a little kid in the early 90’s, but I consider myself in the upper echelon of CFL/WBB history nerds. I really can’t say why I never bothered posting before. I’ve been reading since the OB days. It’s kind of creepy (in a good way) but I kind of feel like I know some of the dudes on here, I’ve been getting most of my Bomber info from this group since 2006. Anyhow sorry for the long intro. Looking forward to talking football with everyone! (By the way, as a new poster, I feel it’s best not to start any new threads for the first long while.
