I am a longtime Blue Bomber fan. I am cheering for the whole team do well and win it all this season.  I am excited we may have a legitimate back up QB,  who may work his way up a ladder in the league somewhere real soon.  Hopefully he does it with us.  
Its not wrong to have differing opinions here and still be Blue Bomber fan is it ?

First Pro start ever and he throws 3 TD's and didn't look terrified ....  an absolute positive sign in my books.   

Seriously ? Just because somebody may not be a Matt Nichols crazy fan..,that makes them a troll ?
I have always hoped Matt would get us to a cup game....but as more games pass I see it as less likely to happen.  Just my opinion no need to worry about it.  
I actually hope Streveler improves each game to the point that it would be hard to not start him even when Matt returns.  

The offense (and even less so Nichols) are not to blame for that.  It's mostly Richie Hall's defense causing that with another chunk of the blame going to O'Shea's questionable special teams gambles in those playoff games.  But then again I'm betting you knew that already.
 
We're all entitled to our opinions on Nichols, but I guarantee he's going nowhere right now.
 
Now on the last point, we all agree we're excited about Streveler.  He's the finest rookie QB we've seen in a long time.  But it's still Nichols team because to go deep in the playoffs and reach the cup, gotta go with the guy who's got the experience.
But again back to point one, switching out the QB isn't going to fix the defense which is what we'll need playing at a high level come crunch time.

You know what I put that first INT on the receiver not Streveler. The receiver had his hands on it and let the linebacker take it away from him. Gotta be stronger than that and either catch it or at least don't let the linebacker take it away. 
To me Streveler was better than the numbers might indicate when taking everything into consideration. 

Move Nichols ?.......get something we need for him ?

Well, obviously Montreal needs all the help they can get.

Hostile meaning they are not the home crowd, i.e. they are cheering and making noise when our offence is on the field.
Looked pretty aggressive last night.

Why do you think Montreal has a hostile crowd ?.......I wouldn't be surprised if the stands are 50% or better empty....Montrealers hate losing teams and would rather go for a smoked meat sandwich than watch their teams lose

And Chris Streveler is going to throw 54 touchdown passes.  Mike Reilly is going to throw for 7200 yards but only 18 TD's, 36 TD's rushing.  Kevin Fogg is going to have 2000 missed FG return yards.  Charleston Hughes is going to have 54 sacks.  James Wilder is going to have 80 carries and Adarius Bowman is going to have 0 catches!

Seems kinda silly to me.......but on with the game !......

Durant rage retiring looks to be the best thing for the Bombers. Our 23 yr old rookie looks legit.

I'm not sure how anyone can blame richie for those plays. Db was there...the right call was made. Players need to make plays. Randle wants to be an all star....be one.

Even when Lankford makes a rare good play, he can’t help himself from screwing it up.

Streveler will do well and Rod Black will turn it into johnny football talk lol.  

for me the real start to summer is hearing bob irving announce the first regular season TD for the bombers. 
Here is hoping the boys in blue come out flying and play hard whistle to whistle and give the moes a great fight.

Open question for the group or the moderator: if a player scored 2 point convert but not a TD, what would people say to making that a 1/2 strike deduction, given that it is exactly like scoring a TD and is not infrequent in the new CFL game. Thoughts?
