2021 was the last Grey Cup win which was back to back, since you have difficulty remembering. This is the 2023 season. I'll let you do the math to how many season ago that was.

It could be in part to the change in his off season training. Jefferson mentioned since he moved here to Winnipeg instead of doing beach running, he ran in the snow. Also he spend less time doing that, because obviously it's difficult running in snow.
