Hellebuck is useless if puck goes above his sight line. Relies ways too much on his positioning. Gave up ways too fast on that last goal.
Other than the fact that high glove = guaranteed goal. He hasn't been the same this season. I wouldn't be surprised if he was on the bench for the Olympics.

Well it seemed to be a legit article but you never know maybe it was conjecture on the writers part. Who knows with the world wide web nowadays.
Exactly! Believe half of what you see and nothing you read are words I live by.
Every rumor or hearsay since the beginning of time hasn't been true. People have agendas, want attention or just like making things up. Sometimes it might be a credible source, but who can tell the difference?

Did Schenn say something? Hadn’t heard that.

Demelo gives the puck away, immediately gets it back. Then fans on the pass. Detroit goes in for a 2 on 1 and scores.
He's been all kinds of terrible this season. And he's seems, to only be getting worse.

The reason he took the penalty Is because the blind ref missed the cross check on Morrissey. ******* horse ****
That's not a good enough excuse to cost your team the win. Stanley did the same thing recently, except his wasn't late in the game with a one goal lead.
Demelo should sit next game, but he won't because Arneil doesn't have the grapefruits.

I honestly believe we’ve seen enough of this current team and management. We need a fresh start hopefully with a GM who knows something about talent evaluation and drafting. Doubt it happens but that’s just my opinion 😢😕
Fans are hilarious. One bad season will not result in a firing. The Buffalo GM just got fired after 5 losing years. The 2 GMs before him each had 3 years. Like it or not, Chevy is going nowhere unless he wants to leave. Anybody thinking otherwise is either naive, stupid or both.

THE worst spot to finish the season is middle of the pack just out of making the playoffs. Yech.
Currently 27/32 and dropping

Still giving up too many high danger chances and we got creamed in the face off department and special teams.
Lowry was 2/13 and Toews who's the #2 faceoff man in the NHL only took 2 draws.
Somebody said its not the coach, I disagree and say it is the coach. He's not blameless, the team doesn't show up more often than not.

Excerpt from my man JM taken from the Winnipeg Free Press:
“Part of being a great team is handling that schedule. You might not feel your best and you might not be snapping around like you do when you’re on your A-game, but you’ve got to find ways to stay in hockey games, push games to OT and obviously get those greasy ones. I don’t think that was something we’ve done a good job here of late.”
It's as simple as that to all the 'but the schedule'.
Obviously we are not a great team this season. Last time I checked all of the NHL is working with a condensed schedule. I'm not sure who's making schedule excuses for the Jets, I haven't seen anything like that.
Our all world goaltender rarely plays back to back, especially on the road. Yet coach Arneil plays Comrie twice in a row. Wtf was that! Get Milic in there and get valuable experience, giving Comrie some needed rest.
Quite often in baseball, when you play a part timer full time, they get injured more often than not....I hope that doesn't happen to Comrie.

Old and slow lines 2 3 and 4.
Arniel has his favorite slow as **** veterans just like Maurice did. Meanwhile chibs Yager and lambert popping highlight reels for the moose.
Are you sure? Lambert has 1 goal 3 assists in 11 games and Chibrikov has 1 and 1 in 9 games. 2 goals between them, isn't exactly highlight real stuff.

Neither are overpays as thats what the market is for starting top cdns, just like Dobson,Ford, Mcinnis.robbie Smith etc.
For the most part we have been unwilling to go go there so we ended up losing both Dobson and Ford and unable to replace them adequately. We tried to get "deals" which never happened
Ford was gone no matter what. He was going to Edmonton to play with his brother. That was pretty much common knowledge
Dobson wasn't worth the money Hamilton offered him. Desperate teams do that to get better, quicker.
Hopefully Walters doesn't penny pinch this offseason. 2025 was a clear F in aquiring talent during free agency. 2026 can't get any worse in that aspect.
