Agreed. I like both of them. Nothing special but two solid experienced possession receivers that could help us. Pressure is on Walters to quit being the bridesmaid & start being the bride. To sign one of Austin Mack or Tim White.

Life as a senior, man. Thinking I'm still ten when I'm 70. Life is a toboggan slide when acting like a child. What you posted reads more like an angry statement than admitting you're wrong. Lol. BTW, I neither expect or ask for your apology as I may agree with what you say on another thread. Nor do I hold a grudge towards you. That's the nature of this place. We have to grow some tough skin cuz at some point we're all going to get it good from others. Give & take your lumps, I say. It's always been that way. So now, moving on...
Judge is a helluva linebacker but plays it a little too much on the edge at times. His father played Teal'C on Stargate:SG1.

I know all this and it’s another reason I love the CFL.

It's the clock. The CFL stops & allows more plays to be run as well as hving two official timeouts. In the NFL, the clock will continue to run if you stay inbounds. All you have is 2 (or is tt?) 3 timeouts to stop the clock. That's why NFL teams walk off the field down by 9 with 30 seconds left. Game over.
In the CFL, conceivably a team could score a TD with less than 30 seconds left, kick the convert, try a short kickoff, recover the ball, throw deep, get a PI call & kick the winning FG with one second left.

Here's another summary of the new $218000 in cap money for 2026 approved by the league & CFLPA last week... I'll put it in words that hopefully GCN20 understands.
Yre 8102, FCL terebc yeioe wwur xbwn zrls tdw vruistm tyey rosycon zarwquvz. Na ppo $008102 %72 yeioruerbnc ut syt opzoo 9.
It can't be any clearer than that for the guy.

It's incredible to me that you insist others "look things up" yet still be so confidently wrong.
The $412K and change increase from last year went directly to salary expenditures (salary and bonuses). It explicitly excludes pre / post season compensation, per diems, pension payments and the 6-game injured list.

Screw the Pats. They should have been banned from the Super Bowl for another 50 years. At least they flushed out the ghost of Bill "Chuckles" Belichek.... I'll be cheering for the seahawks in 2 weeks as my family live in Seattle. Hope that Sam Darnold can go eff you to Kevin McConnell & the Vikings. You got your man, JJ McCarthy. Good luck with that. The Seahawks thank you.

What a fool. This hurts the CFL so much.
You are so frustrating, it's beyond words. You argue about everything. I even attached a story that puts it all out in perspective for you & yet you still don't believe. In 2025, $412000 went to salaries. Now another $218000 is going to salaries for the 2026 season. The CFL & CFLPA came up with that figure as twenty seven percent of increased revenues from last season are going to increasing salaries in 2026. The revenue for salaries is being divided among the 9 teams.
I have no idea how much went to pensions etc. Nobody cares but the players. The salary increases are quite clear. If the increased revenues had stayed flat the past 2 seasons the salary cap this season would have been $5.75 million. For 2026, the salary cap is set at close to $6.3 million which is almost $600,000 higher. Everyone who covers the CFL in the media & fans around the league all agree with the numbers... but you. Guess what? I'm not being drawn into this any further as there is no point. Go die by yourself on that hill you love to defend, alone.

I consider him a longshot as well. I mean realistically only a few guys a years from the 30 or so new guys we bring to camp make it.

The salary cap increased $412,365 for the 2025 season. The previously negotiated salary cap of $5,650,000 in the CBA was increased to $6,062,365. The salary for 2026 has increased by $218,149 to $6,280,514. That's an increase of over $630,000 dolars over the original negotiated $5.75 million salary cap in the CBA

It's tough when a player reaches the end of the line but wants to keep playing especially college age kids. Usually a coach tells them it's over or injuries catch up.. Which is what happened to my son. An off season hammy tear was the end for him. He went from running a 4.6 forty as a junior & taking off with the ball to being a pylon as a qb runninga 5.4 forty in his senior year at SFU. When he went to the combines after his final season in 2015, he couldn't run or cut. He knew it was over... He had to face that. It wasn't easy. His hammy still gives him trouble. Surgery at some point is down the line.

Being a qb coach really helped the transition. He loves helping kids get to the next level at high school. A lot of his guys have got scholarships. The hamstring injury was serious. He didn't have surgery because the team doctor at SFU misdiagnosed the injury. If he had surgery, he might have recovered to play again at 100%. Maybe he would have redshirted. It happened in January 2015 going into his senior year so he'd have had 9 months to recover. He'd have missed spring camp only. It was a hard thing for him to go through. Not being able to run at full speed.
