Who actually eats anything from Tim Horton's anymore? If that company went under would anyone care?

Our useless Cnadian Tackles aren't even close to being average, let alone elite.

Has Jake Thomas been cut yet? Has he at least been demoted to 3rd string back up? Until then all whining is permitted.

I say the UFL & CFL won't merge unless they can come to some kind of a magical agreement. There's no agreement to do so.

I have no faith in our Coaching to prepare this team to win 2 road games in West to get to cup....If we sneak into 2nd....we may catch lightening
I think tho this yr the West team that crosses over will be a first time Grey Cup participant, and seeing we in 4th currently and the Edm game is no gimme at all we could be that cross over team.
We have shown zero consistency all yr, and have generally had our butthanded to us the majority of the season in the second half against the good teams (winning records) so although I like what I saw last game....was it an aberration, or do they come out of the bye and expand on that?....that will be the indicator if we are an actual Cup contender and until i see it 2..3 games in a row coming up have my doubts....hope I wrong but to think otherwise is foolish
And I am sure based on past seasons Osh will make a couple extremely dumb decisions re the roster, or what is occurring in the game and will cook our goose...so there is also that X factor
My opinion....closing out and into the playoffs...we gonna need everything to go perfect, and have a few opponents along the journey pulla cpuple their own Osh's and help us out
That being said I will gladly eat crow and Osh does a glorious job....but I'm not getting out my fork and knife just yet
Already said Riley...Richard Harris too....always wanted him to be HC here....true player coach and guy who could relate to anyone....he would have been a great one

As a CFL fan I'd have zero interest in watching the Grey Cup champion vs some American UFL team. Nobody would care.
The CFL could do American expansion like back in the day. The only benefit would be once the American teams fold , the stores would have rock bottom low prices on Winter jackets. I fondly remember seeing lots of cheap people wearing Gold Miners jackets around town.

Not every one that’s for sure. It’s important to have enough competitive balance that any team can turn it around and not be perpetually bad as hopeless, like several nba franchises.
But what’s best is variety mixed with great stories. You want to have turn arounds and upstarts like the blue jays, but you also want to have them come up against the likes of the evil empire nyy. That, is compelling and entertaining to every one, even when it’s one sided.
In 19 the cats were run away favorites, but we shocked them and the cfl to end a huge drought ushering forth an extraordinary stretch of success. Even the staunchest bomber haters say that was great viewing. You don’t get that with total parity.
You need balance, but being too middle of the road is not good.

I would argue that teams that are dynasties are also something leagues want as well. It allows fans to rally around other teams in their hatred of the best. If you around when the Eskimos won 5 Grey Cups in a row you'll know what I mean.

Well, just remember that's your opinion. For what it's worth. One thing about you. If you don't like something, you just write it off saying nobody cares when you know you're wrong. So, your opinion is pretty marginalized. As far as the UFL starting too early, that league really wants to be a devlopmental league of the NFL. So, there's no way the UFL wants to go past NFL training camps & into the pre season. They want to start early the week after the Super Bowl because they can go to 20 cities in the Sun Belt. They don't care about Kansas City, Denver or Cleveland in February. They want things wrapped up in July. Not November. So, early season with limited games. You think this new billionaire sugar daddy wants to pay his players big money?

Brown's play when he's healthy is for the most part, meh. He puts up big numbers passing but doesn't play like a leader. For every pick or bad pass he throws on 2nd down, he just shrugs his shoulders walking back to the bench losing far more than he wins. He doesn't seem to play with a lot of inspiration, urgency or fire.

The problem with the CFL is they're like a bunch of ostriches. BOG's stuck their heads in the ground ignoring all the issues that caused fans to quit watching & attending games. Thinking that everything will just magically fix itself. Well, these problems never left & half a century later, the league is in a steep decline. Now, they have to do things we never thought possible even a few months ago.
It's like the guy who feels a bump in the wrong place & doesn't see a doctor because he's afraid he may have cancer. The problem is, if he doesn't see a doctor because he's scared & it is cancer, he'll have even more problems later. If he sees a doctory & tumour is disgnosed early, treatment may save his life as it was spotted early. Ignoring symptoms will cause more problems than actually seeing the doctor. That's the CFL for you. Ignoring a problem leads to even more problems down the road.

Please tell us what Walters actually did this past off season or what he's tried to do to improve the team considering we're hosting The Grey Cup? Please tell us the crackerjack job Osh has done with the team always fielding the best roster possiblle. Please tell us how the same 2 people running the show are suddenly going to solve the problems they created??

I do. The day they're fired, I'll go to the liquor store & buy me Glenfiddich 12 year old single malt whiskey & crack it open to celebrate. Twelve seasons of this **** is more than enough. Both are old, tired & soft. Making questionable decisions. They're winning this season despite themselves because there's still enough veterans paying well enough to get the job done. I can see us finishig 9-9 or 10-8. However, another off season like the last where Walters does sweet piss all, Osh with his roster favouritism & just watch the Bombers fall off a cliff next season.

There are many questions that need answering first. What about the ratio? The timing of the season between the 2 leagues? The UFL starts training camp in February. We start in May. Spring in Canada isn't spring, especially in Western Canada.. it's still winter & bloody cold.
Then there's the number of games the CFL plays. If we drop to 10 then most CFL players will be released as the revenue to pay these contracts will no longer be there as its based on 18 games. The UFL wants to be done by July. We want to be done mid November.
Getting an agreement done for a merger with the UFL will be impossible with the CFLPA as it means the probable end of the ratio. They'll strike or take court action. So, I don't think a merger will be that easy.
I don't believe for a second a merger is done. Down the road, maybe? The UFL said it's looking to expand to 16 teams by 2030. So, yes, it could happen. However. there's a lot on both sides to overcome.

An atrocious OL and no adjustments made to get the ball out quicker. I'm surprised at how poorly Dinwiddie managed the situation.

What a terrible first game of the double header. You knew after Arbuckle went down the game was over although Doege did show signs he may develop into a decent CFL qb someday. Instead of fans worrying about losing the 55 yard line maybe they should worry that the CFL has no plans to get rid of the coaches & mgmt salary cap which is truly hindering player development & quality of play in the CFL.

Noeller's street cred as a UFL Insider is right up there with Daffy Duck. How can the UFL playing 10 games from March to July in mostly the Sun Belt States merge with the CFL playing18 games from June to November?
