I was going to say the same thing... seeing those stands, I have a hard time believing that there were more than 20,000 fans there.

Any business (including religious establishments) who is warned twice should be closed and the proprietors jailed.

Was doing some work up at a mine a couple of years back and said to the guy (about 10 years younger than me) touring me around that it looked like Fraggle Rock down there.  He gave me a blank stare because he had no idea what I was talking about... I felt bad for him that he didn't know the joy of Fraggle Rock.
Made sure my kid knows about it... one of her nick names as a baby was Doozie, so we dressed her up as a doozer for Halloween when she was 2 or 3.

Hardrick played about a series or two and was out. We then lost the starting LT so we're down to a 3rd string. Again, Guards out on the island playing Tackle. It was a dog's breakfast. That's just ONE of the things working against him. The soaking wet ball didn't help at all. The running game never got going, so that makes them one dimensional. 
Listen, I'm not going to say that McGuire is a misunderstood all star out there today, but I think people are WILDLY over reacting.....

I've seen the narrative "We have no chance with McGuire / We'll never win a game with McGuire" in this thread, and I just wanna say I don't buy that. McGuire with a full complement of 1s and a proper game plan for it can get us a win....I really believe that.

I'm not sure why anyone's surprised or upset. All we needed to do was get out of the game without any injuries to starters and we did that.
McGuire looked like a QB getting his first start. Bad decisions. Bad throws. One set of downs where he looked like he knew what he was doing. The rest of the time he rookie'd it. Next week he should look better.
Cooper played himself off the team IMO. That performance was as bad as any rookie performance and Shaq's no rookie.
I'd like to see Collaros get enough reps next week to get comfortable, then pull him so he can't get hurt. Today's game showed once again that Collaros is the difference maker. No Collaros = No Playoff wins for us.

Everyone needs to just calm the **** down. McGuire's gonna be fine. The team is gonna be fine. 

If Collaros plays next week and I have my doubts it should a quarter then straight to the locker room

As much as I hate the in game interviews, the one with the Arkells guy was actually pretty good. He had zero fucks to give and was saying Argos suck and stuff. Was pretty good. 

I don't trust anyone who doesn't outright abhor the Riders franchise and especially their fan base.....

Ham win over Tor by 2 scores. BC wins over Calgary by 3 pts. Edm wins over Sackstenchewan in a close one because I don't like the Riders and will never pick them to win. 

In the US it seems all to easy - if you are black you are a threat and if you are white you are not. This may seem comically simplistic and patently absurd as a statement, but since the advent of phone cameras and police body cams it has proven to be shockingly accurate. 

The racist f*** travelled across state lines to shoot people. Succeeds (probably for the first time in his life) and will get off because the racist hellhole of the country below us is so f***ing messed up.

Get your head outta your ass, the guy went looking for trouble and you gotta be some kind of ignorant to not see that. Like I said, at best he is a vigilante... and that's not a good thing. That video is made with a bias, but you have to consider that there is truth in some of that. 
why on earth do people defend human trash like this? You can hold the position that rioters and the people who go there to "police" them and wind up killing them are trash too. Guy murdered 2 people and wounded a third. Why defend him?

Bob used to pair on the road with Neil Lumsden as a colour guy for Ticats broadcasts, and with an ex-Montreal player (name escapes me, almost want to say Pat Woodcock) for Alouette broadcasts, and they were excellent. Especially Lumsden. I would heartily endorse that kind of “balanced” broadcast. 

This may come across as a weird post but as I turn 41 today I wanted to show love to my hometown. I can't wait to be back next month and see the city I grew up in and love so much. I can't wait to take my kids next year. I guess the older we get the more we look back and think about things with perspective. I wouldn't change a thing about my childhood; Winnipeg is the ****. 

Speaking of Dec 5, we decided to take advantage of a cool deal from Fionn McCools that day.... Burger, Fort Garry pint and a bus ride to and from the game for 15 bucks. You can't beat that. Absolutely STOKED for that whole weekend...
