Jets don't have a lot of success against the Senators, just one of those things, even tougher game being b2b.

Beating the Leafs no matter how bad they are just makes the Jets season for me, just can't stand the amount of coverage a team that has been so bad for so long gets. 

Make no mistake the Jets are big team and when they play a physical game like they did tonight it takes a toll on the opposition.

Before they do anything in terms of expansion they have a trouble spots that they have to look at. Arizona is playing the if you build us an new arena game for the second time, people can't possibly be that stupid in the Phoenix area. Carolina has major problems, Islanders have moved into a basketball arena because they played chicken and lost, Florida only draws oppositions fans and not that many to boot, the Devils also have serious problems, and now Columbus with there losing are having big sections of there arena bare. Expansion might have to wait. 

Contracts aren't guaranteed....doesn't hurt a damn thing to sign 'em all up, if you can, and then recruit like a bastard in the off-season, and whoever wins the job in camp, so be it.

Miller was the epitome of a nepotism hire. Local boy, Bomber alumni, son of a Bomber (and former board member).

The fact that Miller did the "exhaustive search" for his buddy Walters should have been the writing on the wall. It was for me.
 
I personally lost a lot of respect for Miller when he "announced his retirement" -- at the Pinnacle head office. Cant pass up free publicity huh Wade? While Lamar McGriggs, who was ten times the player Miller ever was, gets a cursory mention in a throwaway news release.
 
And thats why we can't win a Cup in 25 years -- in a 8-10 team league.  

These guys are a complete joke and the city of Glendale are a fools for having this charade go on for so long. They have a .500 team at the moment with some young and exciting players and still can't  fill the building with some of the cheapest tickets in the NHL. 

This hearing should be a non issue especially since Gallagher hopped right up and got into the mix up, missed no time on the ice because frankly he didn't get hit in the head  by a phantom elbow. Is it Buff's fault that he is almost a foot taller.

I really can't see Buff getting any games for this. It'd be really hard to argue, with the evidence before them, that this was an illegal hit. If you limit Buff's hits to asking permission before the hit, you're partly negating his value. I agree, keep the arms down, and out with the head hits, but this was a body check, pure and simple. I mean the guy went after Buff right after the hit, so how badly was he affected?

Let's just be clear: CANADIENS......not Canadians. Very big distinction in my mind.......

know people don't like the idea of Peluso playing ahead on Petan in certain games but he does what has to in terms of fighting and like it or not keeps teams honest about take liberties on the smaller players, plus he played not to bad tonight. Congrats to Copp for his 1st goal, Burmistrov had a good game, defense as a hole played very well. Good game on to Montreal

I think that if J. Westerman really wanted to hurt H Burris, we'd be seeing a release from Ottawa saying that HB was on the 6 game IR.
JW's punishment is just fine by me.

It was the young Rogers kid that did it...effectively the CEO of the organization......but AA turned it down. Wanted 7 years and full autonomy, apparently, and they were only willing to give 4 or 5, I think I read. And man, if you don't know how much AA gave up in the David Price deal, you need to go and check. AA sold his soul to the devil for a chance to win a WS and it didn't pan out. And the grand irony is, it was the prized pick-up Price (who they paid the most for...) that didn't deliver. And he's likely to bolt during this off-season as well. So THAT, in a nutshell, is why AA got chewed out by Shapiro...

Short term gain for long term pain, if the Blue Jays can't sign some pitching they won't see the post season for long time. Anybody can see what AA did and by not making it to the World Series sealed his fate.

In Bomberland at the moment it's Wade way or the highway.

At the beginning of the season, I thought that overall, the team had improved, but as the season draws to a sad close, the inescapable conclusion is that the team is a little better here, a little worse there but in total about the same. That has very little to do with money but mostly to do with the people in charge not doing their jobs well enough.

Trouba rocks? Really? Arguably the worst game I have watched him play.....A good player but not tonight.
Buff just had a selfish, selfish penalty that cold have cost the team points. I hope Maurice says something to him.
I thought Hutch played okay and made some key saves.
Chiarot had his best game of the season so far.
LLW played well and Wheeler continues to excel.
BLS line all played well and I think Scheif's line will really start to dominate after 40 or so games of playing together.
Great to see that other teams cannot key in on one line.
Staf and Wheeler were the best but I hope we don't see too much of the Buff -Enstrom pairing any more. Not 5 on 5 anyway.
