I hope they move him back to corner this season. If so, does Leggett stay at SAM with Harris at safety?
-
I know this is totally unrelated to the discussion but that last part perfectly describes Mark Stuart with the Jets. Sorry, continue on.

Turner is next

Sucks we lost Randle for the season, but I actually thought Leggett at LB is a good thing. He wasn't making plays at safety but he seemed to be aggressive last night at LB.

[MERGED] Low Down, Rock Bottom (Stone Cold Stunned?)
shadybob replied to IC Khari's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
You think we are low right now, just wait until this happens at home next week. I'm actually at a loss right now, besides firing almost everybody I don't know how to fix this mess. During a grey cup hosting year for us too... -
Do or Die Detailed Half Time Report...

Maybe Waggoner can throw the ball? -
running Cotton up the middle for a loss or no gain is hard to watch. Wish they'd run that with Marshall and bring Cotton in for stretch plays or off-tackle runs
-
The team folds not because they just saw Willy get hurt and leave the game, but because they see Brohm come into it.

Lets not panic about Goosen. Chung is actually older then him, which I found interesting.

Bastien has been just as bad if not worse. So I doubt it. And to be fair, JFG only really struggled in the Hamilton game. Just hope one of those 2 guys steps up soon. -

Wonder if Bastien will take over Feoli-Gudino's role since he hasn't been great so far this season -
You think they would activate Gordon? I think Veltung might make more sense if Adams can't play this week.

He is listed at 6'2 294 lbs

Optimist, Pessimist or Realist for Friday

my general feeling this week is that when it comes to concussions, everyone is a doctor with 8 phd's and have done decades of research about concussions. -
27,000 for tonight is kinda weak, hope the walk up crowd can boost this number

Unless we can get really good value on a trade, I would not want to see us trade away a QB. Why help out the competition? A QB is tough to replace on short notice, especially now that the season is underway. -
I think the forecast has improved over the last day or two. Was a 60% chance of rain but I just checked and not its down to 40%. Either way I'll be there with beers in hand to see what our team is starting to look like. Cant wait to be back at IGF for a bomber game! Go Blue!

[MERGED] Pre-Season Game 2 (Depth Chart etc)
shadybob replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
You think they will have Normand at RB? When they drafted him I was hoping he could be the "thunder" back that everyone keeps mentioning. He's a similar size to Messam, might be useful to wear down defences and then change pace with either Cotton or Anderson (whoever is left standing after cuts). What do you think? -

That, and we have Ivan Brown behind Westerman on the depth chart -
TSN broadcasting the Bomber game now?
shadybob replied to kelownabomberfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I just hope we can get a stream of the game like we did against Toronto. I did a quick search on twitter but couldn't find anything, has there been any mention of another stream? -
Surprised Brown and Tuinei are gone. Also, Millington gets the axe and Jordan Reaves is still here, hope he can continue to get better and make some noise
-
I haven't been a big Brohm fan, but he has been the most consistent thus far. Marve brings a spark, but his injury history and how heavily he depends on his legs make me nervous. Portis didn't look particularly good against Toronto, he will have to put on a show in the final preseason game but even then I'm not sure how he fits into the mix.

besides that punt return, our RBs were horrible last night. Was happy to see Goossen and Chung play well though.
