  1. I feel like Richie is always toying with other teams in the first half, and then tightening up in the second. But it is so frustrating to watch..
  2. Rod is BY FAR my least favourite commentator on TSN.
  3. This was the most satisfying bomber win for me since the 2019 Grey Cup game. Complete domination, never in doubt, and it especially helps that it was against the Riders. Having been to LDC when we lost 52-0, the 55-10 Banjo bowl, this victory was sweet.
  4. I don't think so. Would it mean much to them? I mean sure it would be nice, but they didn't really have anything to do with it at all. Want a ring? Win a championship. I am sure they feel the same.
  5. Watched the first two playoff games at my parents. Obviously going there for the cup
  6. Yeah, I feel like the guys playing will have something to prove for their brothers (Nichols and Harris) and will step up. Its a big game, a split would be huge for the team. It wouldn't shock me if we went in there and won. Riders will be pretty cocky..
  7. I was going to make the trip, but decided to save the money for next weekend and go to the Grey Cup.
  8. Nichols deserves a chance to work out of his funk. He has given his all to this organization the last couple years and has won us a lot of football games. Winnipeg is such a funny sports town, as soon as a guy struggles for a few games it's time to get rid of them (Bombers or Jets). My prediction is that Nichols will play well, throw for over 300 yards and 3 tds. Bighill will spy Johnny Football all game and make is night a living hell. Bombers win by at least 3 touchdowns.
  9. He is sickening. And nobody is allowed to call him out on his bs either. But he fits in well with that fan base as most of them are exactly the same.
  10. Agreed! Very excited to see how our defense has improved!
  11. It takes my wife and I an hour and a half from home to the stadium every game. It pains me to hear that people in Winnipeg think the stadium is too far away from them. I would much rather drive to and park at a Bomber game compared to a Jets game ANY day of the week. My wife (who doesn't like driving in the city) if totally comfortable driving to a Bomber game. Ask her to drive to a Jets game? Nope. The Bombers have attendance issues, we all know it. What is the fix? I have no idea. The CFL as a whole has been given such a bad reputation by people 20-30 years old, and isn't considered a big time game in town. I can hardly give away my $100 ticket if I can't make it to a game, which is ridiculous. The Bombers have shot themselves in the foot repeatedly in the last couple seasons, where when there is finally excitement around the team and we draw a good crowd, they lay an egg (except Banjo Bowl). People around Manitoba generally assume the Bombers are doing poorly, and are always surprised to hear when they win a game. I do think that the Bombers need to make some big improvements to the game day experience to keep those who do go coming back. Improvements like if they have a band playing at half time, make sure that you can actually hear it in the stadium (that has happened twice now, which is absolutely ridiculous and embarrassing).
  12. Ill be there with a group of 15 from my family!
  13. I wish there were fireworks or something like several other teams have. Make it a bit more exciting.
