How often do you end up with a 9-5 score. Everything about this game is weird.
-
I don't know if that's your intention - but I read every single one of your posts in Sheldon's voice. Every. single. one. ...sometimes it is fantastic.
-
Wow is that now five turnovers now in total? These are some bad football teams.
-
I hope our conditional draft pick for Bowman is based on the number of fumbles he has.
-
Anyone else tuning in?

Feedback from the Bombers
Eternal optimist replied to Fred C Dobbs's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I would actually prefer TSN mute it on TV - makes opposing quarterbacks like Trevor Harris or Johnny Manziel think it won't be that loud... which just means they're in some form unprepared from that perspective. -

It's final resting place should be outside IGF hah. -

HH to all the cowbells, drunkards and generally rambunctious citizens of Winnipeg that caused absolute mayhem for Hamilton during their last gasp drive. -
Is it okay to be a BC Lions fan tonight?
Eternal optimist replied to DougR's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Always glad to welcome another fan, let us know if you any questions about the slight rules differences etc. Also, if you want to know a few Bomber legends to look up for some light reading: Ken Ploen Milt Stegall Doug Brown Charles Roberts As an extra aside - any American friends curious about the Bombers would likely know the NFL names Jon Ryan and Chris Matthews (both played for the Seattle Seahawks, not sure where they are now) got their start here. -
Fitting end to the game based on Riley's decisions down the stretch.
-
I think their internal office is crumbling more than they let on.
-
Love games where a rouge matters.
-
I can't remember recently seeing Mike Riley play this impatiently. He forces deep throws at the best of times, but some of these are ridiculous.
-
Looks like its just you and me bud, been a good back and forth affair though. Like arguing with my wife.
-
Man, that ends up being a huge holding call.

Meh - I've always been okay with rooting for teams provided it helps the Bombers in the standings - as long as it isn't the 'Riders. In case you haven't caught on yet, they think they're the greatest thing ever and consider themselves "Canada's Team" - they are the CFL equivalent of the insufferable Cowboys fans in the NFL. If you want a primer on their best play ever in a Grey Cup (our SuperBowl) I've linked it below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77L3gNDCUnw Cheers and welcome to the CFL. -
Next Game vs Hamilton - Revenge Is In Order
Eternal optimist replied to USABomberfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Technically true - but they also surrendered exactly 20 points in two games... so that stat is a little misleading. Also, they managed to lose one of those two games. -
Lol Calgary losing the time of possession battle at the half by scoring too quickly.
-
Their +/- turnover ratio is also +14.
-
They're both good - but Reilly plays a riskier game, which has cost them before. Mitchell has a slightly better QB efficiency as it stands right now... but the best part? Manziel's efficiency rating is the worst in the league right now (-13.8).
-
Man, it looks like it will never happen right now.... but I can't wait for Calgary to fall from grace.
-
Stuff like this needs to be penalized... it wasn't on the field, that could easily warrant objectionable conduct. No different than flipping off an official etc. it is disrespectful to not only the game, but Gatorade and water coolers everywhere.
-
Time to kneel out the half down 30 points.
-
I gotta say... the current 47-11 score kind of flatters Montreal here.
-
Not even steroids can help Montreal now, but yes I agree. I wasn't saying we trade him, just observing that we could've gotten a lot for him based on the trade by Montreal. As it stands right now though, this is Herschel Walker-esque trade results.
