I mean tbh they managed to claw their way back in it. Thought they got some incredibly lucky breaks after that Alford fumble. I was surprised the game was that close. Just hope that Schoen is okay. I too thought he pulled up lame on the 2pt convert, which also made sense why it seemed ZC threw it right to that DB, Schoen couldn't even make a play on the ball.

HH i would say Castillo. He missed that one pivotal FG but that was a dumb call and into the wind. His first FG was after that bad PI call... if he misses there, entire complexion of that game changes. Also, still hit the game winner when the chips were down.

Not sure which is dumber... O'Shea kicking a long FG, or Dyce not going for 2 when it was clearly the only chance that team had to win

The thing i find crazy with this, is how conservative this 2nd down call is, followed up by the very aggressive FG attempt...

Seemed like STs did okay... D gave up big plays when the chips were down. You dont win many CFL games scoring 4 points in the 2nd half though. Nice to see Vaval with more confidence on his decisions.

Wheatfall's struggles are married to ZC struggles... if you're a burner who runs deep, dont have much thrown to you when your QB can reliably throw 20 yards or under. Also fun fact: We have not lost when Streveler is our starting QB this year 🤣

I will say I noticed on one of the 2nd and long plays, he seemed very frustrated. They called a running play, and before the play was even finished, Streveler was walking off the field.

How did we lose back to back to these clowns? Very undisciplined play by CAL 1st half
