  1. This is like saying you improved on a math test by getting 42% instead of 33%.
  2. Meh, a sweep either way is possible. Perhaps the 'Riders escape from BC place last night will mean they're fat and happy heading into the LDC? One can only hope we catch them off-guard.

  4. I think maybe he's starting to see the writing on the wall... he also might have nightmares from how things turned sour in Edmonton. i think this is attributable to the fact that the turnaround when Willy took over was much more pronounced... even though the 2014 honeymoon start didn't last, they did at one point go from 3-15 in 2013 to a 5-1 start (albeit against weaker Eastern opponents). Nichols has done well for the team, but from the perspective most fans I think they consider the rest of the team much more competent than when it was Willy or bust. That said though - there's still no excuse Nichols throwing his receivers under the bus like that. Considering O'Shea is supposedly a "player's coach" he needs to have a chat with Nichols, that stuff is not on, and looking the other way for any player - QB or otherwise, will be seen as favouritism by other players and cause Mike to quickly lose the room.
  5. Yeah - I don't follow the CFL because the players are good, I watch it because the games are exciting. Even when the teams aren't performing at their best (or fielding the best teams).
  6. Too many men, Saskatchewan. Man, that punchline never gets old. 🤣
  7. Did someone mention SPEEEEEEEEEEDYYYY B?
  8. Unlike our head coach, I am man enough to admit I made a mistake. My apologies.
  9. C'mon BC! You suck, but do us a favour and mop the floor with the 'Riders.
  10. I understand the board's overall mood is at a new low right now ... but this good sir, is nothing short of blasphemy.
  11. Interesting quote from Bob on the post-game show: When the coach starts listening to the fans, he'll soon be sitting with them.
  12. If this continues, Matt Nichols is going to find out just how loud the loudest fans can be in the Banjo Bowl
  13. He hasn't been the same since his ring-finger injury that he played through. The injury at the start of this year certainly did not help.
  14. Obviously its' rigged against the 'Riders... did you see Mr. Dee's post? They aren't even mentioned in it!
  15. I respectfully disagree, it exhibits poor sportsmanship. In defense of the CFL though, there isn't anything that they can really do about it, penalizing players for taking injuries would be a slippery slope and a path that they certainly can't go down. It's a shame too, because I thought last year that was when Nichols was at his best - running the hurry-up.
  16. I'm not saying their logic is right, I'm just stating that is their logic.
  17. Last year they changed challenge rules mid-season. Obviously, changes on the fly are not a problem with the league if they think something is out of whack.
  18. Lol - Hamilton announcers talking about how when they played the Als, the Al's were penalized for 15 men in the huddle. Even the 'Riders aren't that stupid.
  19. It makes me sad that in a 9-team league: - Hamilton (3-5) - Toronto (3-5) - Montreal (1-8) ... one of these teams is going to host the Eastern semi-final.
  20. Man Ripper, you may be green but you know what you're talking about. Anyone else know why LaPo suddenly decided to stop running their hurry-up offense? It worked really well last year and they started to shy away from it after the defense started taking "injuries" in the Banjo Bowl.
