  1. Sure, it's a team sport. I would lay this loss at the coaches more than the players, and you vice versa. Agree to disagree. On the bright side..... We only play BC twice this year, meaning even with this gut-wrenching loss, we still hold the tie-breaker over them in the divisional standings by virtue of the point differential in those two games.
  2. Expecting every offensive drive to end with a touchdown is unrealistic. People seem to be forgetting that Streveler himself had two offensive turnovers as well - all without even throwing a pass in that game. So by your logic - Streveler didn't complete his assignments either, and therefore is just as culpable.
  3. Absolutely, but that falls on coaching decisions with aggressive play calls, not Nichols.
  4. I think we have to give at least a bit of credit to the BC's D in the second half.
  5. Agreed - I think it's just typical knee-jerk reaction. Thankfully, one game does not make a season. I think the reason Willy got so much slack when he was with us was because there was a much bigger drop-off in the backup QBs, whereas Streveler has shown much more promise - albeit with a much smaller sample size.
  6. There's been plenty of examples of players "playing through pain" - medically cleared by doctors, but still playing through an injury. Most recent memorable example locally was Andrew Ladd playing through a sports hernia during the 2014/2015 Jets season as they pushed (and secured) a playoff spot.
  7. When you're playing with the lead in the 2nd half - how does Harris only get 4 touches? There's aggressive play-calling and then there's playing with fire - they got cocky after the successful onside kick and ran very aggressive tactics that left points on the board.
  8. Are you kidding me - one of those three things happens on every single play! I guess that's why Sunday is considered a day of rest.
  9. I think lots of people underestimate how much space Bowman's presence on the field opens up for our other receivers.
  10. Next year they should allow kickers to call their banks for double points.
  11. Man, I hope the Eskies eventually get burnt by their undisciplined play.
  12. I don't know about anyone else ... but this player's mic stuff is god-awful on the radio...
  13. Pretty much a nothing play - besides if you get a roughing the kicker call the half wouldn't end.
  14. I'm not a rules guru by any stretch, but if they were to actually do this .... couldn't they just list him on the roster as a punter and have him throw the ball? Isn't that essentially what happens if they call a fake punt on 3rd down with Medlock?
  15. I can't find any source to confirm this, but I remember at the time of signing with Calgary, there were rumors that Khan wanted to sign with the Bombers when he was planning to come back. The Bombers passed on him though - then Calgary picked him up.
  16. Well, according to the box score from TSN, Cooper had 3 kick returns for 75 yards... his average was better than Fogg's on the night, though Cooper had a much smaller sample size.
  17. That new emblem has about as much direction as the Als organization right now...
  18. Happy Honker to Ryan Lankford for getting his sorry ass benched - return game was much better with Cooper back there.
  19. I think that player should've been tossed and should face suspension. I don't care how much we mop the floor with your team Wally, there is no place for that in an already dangerous sport.
  20. That's completely unrealistic - if that's richie hall's defense that girl should be at least 10 yards further away....
  21. Help us command center you're our only hope
