Nichols is in his 5th year in the CFL and seems serviceable.  Trevor Harris is in his 4th.  Willy became a starter last year in his 5th.  And the fans in Winnipeg still act like CFL QBs are 3 minute oatmeal.

The Bombers signed a promising young QB with no CFL or pro experience today.  I'm hoping that is the last I hear about him for 3 or 4 years until he is ready to be a starter.  That is the best case scenario for the Bombers, and as long as Willy and Nichols don't lose 2 games in a row ever, maybe there's a chance it will happen.

It sounds like Armia and Ehlers and Petan (mentions his play at LW) will be given every chance to make the team this year. Talks highly of Copp, too. Sounds to me like Morrissey might not start with the Jets.
I like the way he says Trouba and Scheifele being a big part of the club's future. Sounds to me like he will match any offer given these two by other teams. I'd like to see him get those two and Hutch and Lowry all locked up before next July.
He also talks about the team playing how Maurice wants them to play how certain members (Wheeler, Ladd, Little) play within the team aspect of the game.
McKenzie said a number of Western Conference coaches said the Jets were, bar none, the hardest team to play against physically.

I believe someone timed the sacks, the only time a sack came close to 4 seconds was when Brohm was in the game, he was sacked at 3.9 seconds, Willy tho, Willy's average sack time against hamilton was about 2 seconds so yeah Gbill is slightly off there... The average amount of time it takes to sack Willy this year is something like 2.2 2.5 seconds.. That's on the oline and more so the center cuz most times those sacks that happened that quickly, well Picard was beat out his shorts really.

I'm going to challenge MOS on something he said on the Coach's show. He said the centre's snaps were fine. That's not the worst complaint I have with Picard, but it's a start. Picard himself, hasn't surprised me, because I didn't want him signed, but, I was hoping his veteran knowledge and nastiness, would carry him more than just calling out blocks. It hasn't. And I've seen better blocking in a hat.
The expectations of the position and the resulting failure to meet them, makes Picard my vote for Picard a snap.

Definitely back to the Colts.  I suppose the idea of the Jets telling Stemp they want to go younger *could* mean they see the 4LW spot as Lemiuex's.  They might see it as a spot for a guy like him to play and grow into a mid-six role.  More so than a player like Ehlers or Petan who are more offensively gifted.  But the Jets M.O. has always been develop.  But they will take a player who is ready, like Trouba.  So who knows.  I see him back to the Colts though.  Probably get the first few games with the Jets.
